Velocio creates cycling apparel at the intersection of design, culture, and sustainability. We build from the ground up, obsess over the details, and test everything with real athletes. No shortcuts. We're looking for a Graphic Designer to assist Velocio in producing and maintaining a best-in-class visual brand identity and DTC experience, including working within our CMS, organizing and editing photos and videos, and creating visual assets for multi-channel campaigns.
Responsibilities
- Support the Velocio Marketing Team in conceptualizing, designing, and producing brand and
- product communications across owned channels.
- Work within Velocio's CMS to manage product photos and layout brand and product landing pages.
- Organize, select, and edit a library of photo and video assets and deliver under tight deadlines.
- Develop both print and digital advertisements.
- Design product and brand presentations.
- Enhance Velocio's visual presence at events and retailers.
- Collaborate with a small marketing team and effectively work cross-functionally.
- Ensure the requirements of the brand guidelines are accurately and consistently integrated into all asset types.
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience with brand and visual design, ideally in a DTC environment.
- Deep command of Adobe Creative Suite and Figma.
- Working familiarity with Klaviyo, Shopify, and Sanity (or comparable email/CMS tools).
- Fluency in typography, layout, and visual hierarchy with a strong instinct for visual brand language.
- Strong written and verbal communication and collaborative skills, and the ability confidently and successfully present a creative point of view.
- Ability to multitask and work quickly within a fast-paced environment
- Strongly Preferred:
- Solid understanding of UX best practices for e-commerce storefronts and customer journey design.
- Cycling industry knowledge and genuine passion for the sport. Velocio is part of the SRAM family of brands. This role works closely with both teams and may contribute to broader SRAM marketing initiatives.
- Salary range is CAD $70,000 to CAD $90,000 based on skills and experience level. This position is eligible for an annual corporate bonus based on company and individual performance.
