Key Responsibilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
• Maintain accurate registration of Reinsurance and Financial Lines portfolios for new business, ensuring proper data capture, documentation and audit readiness.
• Ensure contract certainty for both new and renewal Reinsurance business including tracking and monitoring documentation status where required.
• Update and maintain premium listings for renewal reinsurance business to support operational processes.
• Perform AML (Anti-Money Laundering) screening for new and renewal Reinsurance and Financial Lines business, maintain records and assist in escalating exceptions for review.
• Monitor Fire and Bond accumulations within the reinsurance portfolio to support Technical Underwriters in risk assessment.
• Maintain and track Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours for the Technical & Underwriting Services team to ensure compliance requirements are met.
• Issue cover notes upon instruction and approval from Financial Lines Technical Underwriter.
• Provide additional administrative and operational support as assigned.
Qualifications
- Preferably A level or Diploma holder with recognised General Insurance qualifications (BCP, PGI & ComGI).
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant working experience
- Candidates without prior experience but with a strong interest in the insurance industry are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word & PowerPoint).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Meticulous, service-oriented and a strong team player.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
