We're looking for an Email Marketing Specialist to own email creation in HubSpot. Reporting to the Marketing Operations Manager, you'll build, test, and schedule the emails that reach our prospects, customers, and partners, including newsletters, event invitations, product announcements, and nurture campaigns.
This role is hands-on. You'll take campaign briefs and copy from across the marketing team and turn them into polished, accurate, on-brand emails. You'll build the lists and segments behind each send, use test results and performance data to improve future emails, and keep the email calendar and approval process running smoothly. You'll also create simple graphics in Canva when our graphic designer is busy with larger projects.
You'll work with a small, collaborative team and with people in several time zones. Your work will be seen by our prospects, customers, and partners every week.
You will build emails across a variety of campaign types:
Workflow-based drip campaigns (6+ weeks)
Automated nurtures (demo, free trial, lifecycle stages)
One-off campaigns (trade shows, announcements, etc.)
Webinar promotion series (invites, reminders, follow-ups)
Monthly newsletter (gather content from stakeholders, build, iterate, and send)
What you'll do:
Own email creation in HubSpot, building marketing emails from start to finish using templates, modules, and personalization tokens.
Build and segment lists, creating targeted lists in HubSpot so each email reaches the right audience.
Run A/B tests, testing subject lines, content, send times, and calls to action, and applying what you learn to future emails.
Analyze email metrics to guide decisions, tracking open rates, click rates, and unsubscribes, and using the results to recommend changes to content, timing, and audiences.
Maintain the email calendar, planning and scheduling sends across teams so campaigns are coordinated and audiences aren't over-emailed.
Manage the approval process for email sending, getting emails to reviewers on time, tracking feedback and sign-off, and making sure nothing is sent before it's approved.
Maintain oversight of marketing team inbox, organizing, deleting and responding to email responses as necessary.
Test every email before it goes out, checking links, merge fields, recipient lists, and how each email looks on desktop and mobile.
Turn campaign briefs into finished emails, working with marketing team members to get copy, images, and calls to action ready for review.
Create basic graphics in Canva, including email banners, buttons, and simple images, using Cin7 brand guidelines and approved templates. Hand larger design projects to our graphic designer.
Keep email assets organized, including templates, saved content, and image files, so the team can find and reuse them.
Follow email best practices and privacy rules, including unsubscribe handling and consent requirements for the regions we send to.
What you'll bring:
2-3 years of experience in email marketing, marketing operations, or a similar role.
Hands-on experience building and sending emails in HubSpot's marketing email tool.
Experience building and segmenting lists in HubSpot.
Experience running A/B tests and using the results to improve future emails.

A basic understanding of HubSpot workflows, such as enrolling contacts and sending automated emails.
Basic graphic design skills and working experience with Canva.
Experience using Asana or similar project management tool (ClickUp, Trello, Etc.)
Strong writing and proofreading skills, with close attention to detail.
The ability to manage several projects at once, keep a calendar on track, and meet deadlines.
