Job Purpose and Impact
- The Director, Security Operations Center (SOC) job leads the execution of the global tactical and strategic plans related to organization- wide cybersecurity threat detection and response operations. This job leads the U.S.-based team responsible for identifying, analyzing, and mitigating cyber threats, ensuring a robust security posture, and facilitating compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
Key Accountabilities
- INCIDENT RESPONSE: Leads and guides incident detection, response, and recovery processes to ensure effective and efficient management of cyber incidents.
- CYBER SERVICES VISIBILITY: Oversees the design and operation to assure situational visibility for all cyber services, including foundational cyber analytics and automation.
- THIRD PARTY COMPROMISE: Fosters partnerships on third party compromise response activities to address and mitigate risks associated with external entities.
- COLLABORATION: Cultivates collaboration with cybersecurity peers, data privacy partners, external experts, industry consortia and other internal and external teams to ensure organization wide cyber security threat detection and response operations are effective and efficient and business objectives are delivered.
- TEAM MANAGEMENT: Manages team members to achieve the organization's goals, by allocating resources, ensuring productivity, communicating performance expectations, creating goal alignment, giving and seeking feedback, providing coaching, measuring progress and holding people accountable, supporting employee development, recognizing achievement and lessons learned, and developing enabling conditions for talent to thrive in an inclusive team culture.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of 6 years of relevant work experience.
- Bachelor's Degree of equivalent years of experience
- Experience managing teams
