The Role:
Cox Ideabar, an integrated brand, creative, and media marketing center for creativity, is seeking a Director, Integrated Marketing Partnerships to shape powerful brand stories for the Cox family of brands and select partners. Our ideal candidate is a strategic leader responsible for overseeing high-impact relationships and integrated marketing engagements. This role serves as a leader across Cox Enterprises, overseeing the portfolio of relationships and associated integrated marketing scopes of CEI's internal agency (e.g., Environmental Advocacy & Marketing, OpenGov, CleanTech, CAI, CCI, AJC, Cox Conserves, etc.); while also stewarding external agency relationships and associated integrated marketing scopes with revenue accountability.
Responsibilities:
Strategic Relationship Leadership
- Serve as the primary business contact and trusted marketing advisor to senior leaders across Cox's internal divisions and external client organizations.
- Cultivate, grow, and retain long-term relationships that deliver marketing excellence and business results.
- Drive alignment across business and marketing leadership to ensure strategies are forward-looking, measurable, and fully integrated into enterprise priorities.
- Lead quarterly business planning sessions with internal partners and external clients to co-develop strategic priorities, scope high-impact marketing initiatives, and ensure proactive alignment on resource allocations, timelines, and deliverables.
Integrated Marketing Strategy
- Architect end-to-end marketing strategies including full-funnel campaigns that align with client and partner business goals.
- Develop scopes of services and campaign plans in partnership with internal Cox teams and external vendors.
- Shape and evolve Cox Ideabar's integrated marketing offerings to stay ahead of market shifts and client and partner demands.

- Lead and develop a team of 8-10 marketing professionals including Group Account Directors, Account Directors, Account Supervisors, and account leads by setting a clear strategic vision, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and creating structured growth opportunities that align individual strengths with business needs.
- Champion a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Business Development & Growth
- Drive organic growth within existing accounts and spearhead acquisition of new client relationships aligned to the agency's strategic vision.
- While topline revenue is not a primary responsibility of the role, the Director may be expected to help identify or secure incremental opportunities when needed to offset financial gaps.
Financial Management
- Oversee revenue forecasting, account-level profitability, and client value realization across all accounts.
- Collaborate with business operations to proactively manage budgets, optimize resource allocation, identify risk and opportunity areas, and ensure account-level profitability-consistently meeting or exceeding P&L targets across both internal and external portfolios.
