Job Description:
We are looking for a Director of Global Campaigns, Hybrid Cloud who will translate Hybrid Cloud business and go-to-market priorities into an integrated marketing strategy that drives customer behavior change, pipeline growth and measurable business outcomes. This leader will partner closely with product and solution marketing to shape the Hybrid Cloud marketing plan, define the marketing approach for priority customer and business initiatives, and lead cross-functional teams to build integrated, end-to-end activation plans. They will orchestrate across global marketing, product marketing, sales, regional marketing, digital, communications, partner, enablement and operations teams to align investment, content, activation, measurement and execution behind shared outcomes.
As the Director of Global Campaigns, Hybrid Cloud you will:
Partner closely with product and solution marketing leaders to translate Hybrid Cloud business priorities, market opportunities and customer needs into one integrated global marketing plan.
Define the marketing approach for priority Hybrid Cloud initiatives, including target audiences, customer behavior-change objectives, key market moments, content needs, activation approach and success measures.
Lead cross-functional planning and execution teams that bring together the right expertise to make decisions, align activation, review performance and adjust plans based on insight.
Orchestrate across global marketing and broader HPE teams including product marketing, sales, regional marketing, digital, communications, partner, channel, enablement, events, analytics and operations.
Build integrated 360° activation plans that align campaign moments, digital engagement, field marketing, partner activity, communications, enablement, content and measurement into a single execution approach.
Set marketing targets and shared success measures with product marketing, analytics and activation teams, ensuring plans connect to pipeline, opportunity progression, customer engagement and business impact.
Interpret performance, market feedback and sales insights to identify what is working, what is not, what should stop, and what needs to change.
Drive faster decisions and clearer trade-offs on investment, prioritization, content, activation and resource focus across priority Hybrid Cloud initiatives.
Prepare clear executive narratives, performance views, risks, asks and recommended actions for senior leadership forums.
Ensure cross-functional teams operate with shared accountability, clear owners, aligned milestones, documented decisions and feedback loops back into strategy.
Guide integrated content strategy across awareness, consideration and intent, ensuring messaging and assets support the customer journey and are reusable across global, regional, partner and sales motions.
Lead with an outcome-first mindset, moving the role from campaign coordination to business impact, customer behavior change and continuous optimization.
Knowledge and Skills:
15+ years of experience required, with at least 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in B2B marketing, campaign strategy, demand generation or integrated marketing leadership, ideally in enterprise software/SaaS or cloud infrastructure domains.
Expertise leading global campaign initiatives in AI, Hybrid Cloud, and/or Storage domains is highly preferred.
Track record of building integrated marketing strategies and cross-functional activation plans that contribute to pipeline growth, opportunity progression and revenue outcomes.
Experience leading or orchestrating matrixed teams across Product Marketing, Sales, Field, Digital, Partner, Communications and Marketing Operations.
Experience with account-based marketing, campaign-led operating models, performance management and executive-level planning forums.
Global marketing experience and the ability to balance strategic direction with practical activation needs across regions and routes to market.
Strong strategic marketing judgement with the ability to translate business and go-to-market priorities into integrated marketing plans that drive measurable outcomes.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams in a matrixed environment through influence, clarity, collaboration and shared accountability.
Deep understanding of B2B technology marketing, enterprise buyer journeys, demand creation, pipeline acceleration and full-funnel activation.
Ability to distill complex Hybrid Cloud narratives into clear customer needs, compelling messages, priority interventions and actionable campaign moments.
Experience partnering with product marketing, sales, regional marketing, digital, communications, partner, channel, enablement, events, analytics and operations teams.
Strong performance orientation, with the ability to interpret data, identify implications, recommend actions and optimize plans against agreed outcomes.
Commercial acumen and confidence discussing investment, trade-offs, pipeline contribution, opportunity progression and business impact with senior stakeholders.
Excellent communication and executive storytelling skills, including the ability to create clear leadership narratives and decision-ready recommendations.
Strong planning discipline with the ability to manage complexity, align contributors, clarify ownership, and keep work moving through focused, productive collaboration.
Customer-in mindset, with the ability to focus teams on the behaviors marketing must influence and the friction points that need to be removed.
Personal style that is collaborative, open-minded, decisive and able to create momentum across teams that do not directly report to the role.
Comfort operating in a modern marketing model where success is measured by shared outcomes rather than functional ownership or activity reporting.
