The Director, The Brand Studio Account and Agency Management provides leadership and oversight to the Account, Strategic, Project Management, Production and Business Operations teams of The Brand Studio, Cox Communications' in-house marketing agency. This role partners closely with The Senior Director, The Brand Studio in managing the teams, relationships, work, deliverables, processes and budgets that lead to high quality effective and efficient creative work. This role takes point on developing and owning the scopes of work and financial reporting and analysis balancing the needs of Cox with the capacity and skills of the team. They will also own the most high-profile and complex jobs within TBS. This position shares the responsibility with the Sr Director in ensuring that The Brand Studio story is told to key leaders and stakeholders throughout the organization. And on helping lead and manage the 40+ person team, growing and inspiring them, championing solid relationships throughout Cox and helping craft the highest quality thinking and work.

- You are a servant leader of a hard-working and diverse team of experienced advertising professionals. Your job is to guide and manage the team for creative, organizational, TBS and career success. You must lead, inspire, challenge, direct, mentor and support them.
- Support the team and ensure that the account, project management, strategic, producer and business operations teams are best positioned from a resourcing perspective to deliver the highest quality work on time and on strategy. Manage leadership and our stakeholders as necessary to align on plans, needs and work. Manage the team to ensure proper support and direction. Ensure a cohesive and positive relationship with all of TBS.
- Own the creation of our SOWs, the process, tracking and reporting.
- Lead and guide the account team to be the best they can be. Smart strategic thinking. Simplifying things for the rest of the team and providing clear and actionable direction. Being a good listener and presenter. Writing and delivering persuasive presentations. Building solid relationships with stakeholders and all of TBS.
- Support the PM team in helping them manage capacity, deliverables, timelines, Workfront, individuals and processes.
- Support the Producers with industry knowledge and experience where applicable. Know the basic finances that go into video, still, audio, event and print production and be a sounding board for budgets and process.
- Partners with the Comms Strategy team to deliver the most thoughtful and comprehensive insights, thinking and briefs. Share ideas and inspiration.
- Work with The Sr Manager of Business Operations on reporting and analysis of TBS, individual portfolios and jobs on a monthly basis. Support other Business Operations needs as they arise.
- Partner with the agency comms strategy owners and TBS comms strategy to ensure creative briefs are actionable, focused, thorough and reasonable in scale and scope.
- Keep marketing leadership and key boundary partners apprised on TBS vision, work, and performance. Be an active networker within Cox and our stakeholder areas.
- Help lead, guide and shape the highest profile work in TBS. Be a hands on leader on this work.
- Ensure that the TBS team is engaged and informed on key issues as well as organizational goals and needs. Support the team with guidance and leadership and any resources they require to do their jobs. Be an advocate and a mentor.
- Share inspiration and new thinking while staying current on the latest marketing, advertising, retail and technology/telecom trends that impact our business.
- Be an excellent communicator. Proactively share key information in and outside of TBS.

Who You Are
Minimum
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 10 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 8 years' experience; a Ph.D. and 5 years' experience in a related field; or 14 years' experience in a related field
- 5+ years' experience in a management or leadership role
- Extensive, proven leadership experience working in an accredited advertising or in-house agency, preferably with a background on the account, strategic or business side of the agency
- Must be a polished communicator with an action-oriented focus
Preferred
- Experience in agency leadership or management role
- Bachelor's degree in a related discipline such as English, Journalism, Marketing, Business or Communications experience
- Familiarity with trends in telecom, retail and advertising and knowledge of the full promotional spectrum are helpful.
- High level experience with national brands in brand identity and voice
- Knowledge and understanding of the creative tools required to do our jobs
- Sound judgement, presentation, and time-management skills
USD 129,100.00 - 215,100.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $129,100.00 - $215,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.

The Company offers eligible employees the flexibility to take as much vacation with pay as they deem consistent with their duties, the company's needs, and its obligations; seven paid holidays throughout the calendar year; and up to 160 hours of paid wellness annually for their own wellness or that of family members. Employees are also eligible for additional paid time off in the form of bereavement leave, time off to vote, jury duty leave, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave, and COVID-19 vaccination leave.
