The Atlanta Journal-Constitution is seeking a CRM Marketing Manager who will be responsible for developing and executing CRM strategies that enhance advertiser engagement, drive lead generation, and support the sales team's objectives. In addition to optimizing CRM systems and managing email marketing campaigns, this role serves as a key partner to the sales and marketing teams by delivering tailored sales enablement resources and insights. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in B2B marketing, CRM management, email campaign execution, and sales enablement, with a proven ability to align tools, data, and strategies to empower sales and marketing success.
Key Responsibilities
CRM Management and Email Marketing (40%):
• Develop and implement CRM strategies to enhance lead engagement, progression, and retention across the sales funnel.
• Manages all aspects of user and license management including new user setup/deactivation, roles, profiles, permissions, public groups, OWD, sharing rules
• Execute Salesforce CRM configuration changes, including (but not limited to): flow, assignment rules, approval processes, fields, page layouts, record types, dynamic layouts, apps, actions, custom settings, mobile administration, dashboards and reports
• Oversee the maintenance and optimization of the CRM system (e.g., Salesforce), ensuring accurate data management, segmentation, and reporting.
• Perform various marketing functions in Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC) including (but not limited to) email campaigns, marketing automation, customer journeys, audience segmentation, campaign performance tracking, multi-channel marketing, data collection and analysis.
• Generate targeted lists for campaigns using B2B data platforms (e.g., ZoomInfo) and ensure alignment with sales and marketing objectives.
• Monitor and analyze email campaign performance, making data-driven recommendations for improvement.
Lead Management and Analytics (30%):
• Manage the lifecycle of leads in the CRM, including lead scoring, assignment, and progression from MQL to SQL.
• Process order submission flow in Salesforce Order Management as part of the lead lifecycle and ensure proper documentation and tracking.
• Provide actionable insights through dashboards and reports to sales and marketing leadership.
• Coordinate the inbound lead distribution process, ensuring timely delegation to sales AEs.
• Generate reports or create report templates in Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC)
Sales Enablement (25%):
• Manage the cross-functional creation and delivery of sales enablement materials, such as pitch decks, email templates, and collateral, to support the sales team's prospecting and closing efforts.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure sales tools and messaging are aligned with broader marketing and business goals.
• Maintain a library of sales enablement resources, ensuring accessibility and relevance for the sales team.
• Track and report on the usage and effectiveness of sales enablement materials, recommending updates or enhancements as needed.
Data & System Optimization (5%):
• Data management to improve Salesforce data quality, implementing rules and automation as needed
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance CRM workflows, email campaign execution, and sales enablement processes.
• Stay current with industry best practices in CRM management, email marketing, and sales enablement to drive continuous improvement.
• Proactive system maintenance including Security Reviews, Release Updates, Health Check, and Optimizer
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in related disciple and 6 years of experience in CRM and B2B marketing including sales enablement, email marketing, lead management and/or optimization AND 1 year experience in a management or leadership type role. With a Masters, 4 years experience; Ph.D. and 1 year experience or 10 years of experience with no degree.
• Marketing automation platform (e.g., Pardot) experience required.
• Salesforce Admin or Super Admin certification highly preferred.
• Experience with B2B Data Platforms such as ZoomInfo or similar tools.
• Strong project management and organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Analytical mindset with experience in reporting and data visualization.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate across teams and departments.
USD 85,500.00 - 128,300.00 per year
Compensation:
Compensation includes a base salary of $85,500.00 - $128,300.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
