As a Data Scientist, you will tackle high-impact business problems by turning complex, large-scale data into scalable analytics and AI solutions. You will design, build, and deploy models - spanning machine learning, optimization/simulation, and emerging Generative & Agentic AI - working closely with product, engineering, and business partners to deliver measurable outcomes.
What you will do
Frame ambiguous business questions into well-defined analytics/AI problems (hypotheses, success metrics, and evaluation approach)
Perform exploratory analysis, feature engineering, and model development on large, complex datasets to uncover non-obvious insights
Design and implement advanced algorithms across machine learning (e.g., tree models, deep learning, reinforcement learning) and Operations Research (optimization, simulation)
Apply Generative and Agentic AI techniques where they create value (e.g., copilots, intelligent workflows, decision-support systems)
Partner with Data/AI Engineering to productionize and deploy solutions in cloud environments with strong software engineering practices
Own solutions end-to-end: problem definition, modeling, validation, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
Communicate complex results clearly and influence decisions by translating technical work into business impact and trade-offs
Contribute to a global community of data scientists and engineers - sharing learnings, raising the bar on standards, and mentoring others
Job Qualifications
What we are looking for
Experience delivering real-world data science and algorithm-based solutions with measurable impact
Strong programming skills in Python and SQL; comfort working with modern data/compute stacks (e.g., Spark)
Strong foundations in machine learning, statistics, and experimental thinking
Knowledge of Operations Research methods (optimization and/or simulation) is a strong advantage
Familiarity with software engineering best practices (Git, testing, CI/CD) and working in DevOps-style environments is a plus
Hands-on experience with large datasets and building solutions that can scale to production
Experience developing and testing in cloud environments (e.g., Azure, GCP) is a plus
Strong problem-solving skills, curiosity, and the ability to navigate ambiguity
Collaborative mindset: able to partner across disciplines (engineering, product, business) and independently drive topics end-to-end
Clear communicator who can explain complex technical solutions to non-technical audiences and drive alignment and action
