We are looking for a Customer Success Manager, Rokt Ads

  • Total Target Compensation: ¥15,300,000 – ¥18,800,000JPY per year (includes base salary, commission, and equity)
    • Fixed Annual Salary: ¥12,250,000 – ¥15,000,000JPY
    • Target Commission (STIP): ¥1,250,000 – ¥2,000,000 JPY
    • Equity: Initial grant of 1200 RSUs, vesting over 4 years
About the role:

As a Client Success lead for Rokt Ads, you will help solve the problem of the Japanese local advertisers to expand their market reach via Rokt Thanks’ network available in Japan by supporting advertisers to launch, optimize, and scale campaigns that deliver measurable outcomes through Rokt Ads.  Based in Tokyo, you will work closely with clients and cross-functional partners to execute campaigns with excellence, identify trends and irregularities in performance data, and translate product capabilities into clear customer value.  This is a role designed for builders who are excited to learn fast, use AI and data to improve outcomes, and grow into managing broader client relationships over time.  The role is intentionally scoped to scale with company growth by building strong fundamentals in execution, product fluency, structured problem-solving, and adaptability as priorities evolve.

Responsibilities:
  • Support onboarding, launch, execution, and ongoing optimization of Rokt Ads campaigns for assigned clients, with increasing autonomy.
  • Analyze campaign and portfolio data to identify irregularities, major trends, and actionable insights, and communicate findings clearly to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build confidence managing smaller accounts or discrete components of larger advertiser relationships, ensuring timely follow-through and strong operational execution.
  • Learn and apply AI-enhanced tools, automation, and Rokt product insights to improve campaign efficiency, reporting quality, and customer outcomes.
  • Partner effectively across Sales, Account Management, Ad Operations, Product, and other internal teams to solve problems quickly and adapt to changing business priorities.

Requirements

About you:
  • 3+ years of experience in client success, account management, digital advertising, campaign management, performance marketing, or a related customer-facing role.
  • Solid experience using data, spreadsheets, reporting tools, or ad platforms to monitor performance and generate insights; experience with campaign management or marketing technology tools would be beneficial.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to operate effectively in fast-paced teams, balancing multiple priorities while meeting deadlines.
  • A builder mindset with humility, curiosity, and accountability; you proactively ask questions, seek feedback, and constantly look for better ways to improve and accelerate outcomes.
  • Good knowledge of digital advertising, ecommerce, campaign optimization, or customer performance metrics would be great, and an interest in using AI-driven tools to improve execution is highly valued.
  • Language requirements : Native level Japanese and Business level English.
