As a Chief Steward, you will be responsible for overseeing all stewarding operations and ensuring compliance with Hilton standards and local regulations. Specifically, you will:
- Lead, train, motivate, and develop the Stewarding Team to deliver exceptional service and operational efficiency
- Ensure all back-of-house, kitchen, and food & beverage service areas are maintained to the highest cleanliness and hygiene standards
- Establish, monitor, and enforce sanitation and safety procedures in accordance with Hilton standards and local legal requirements
- Manage inventory, storage, distribution, and maintenance of operating equipment
- Oversee the maintenance, security, and proper utilization of food service equipment and machinery
- Coordinate with Culinary, Banquets, Restaurants, Bars, and other departments to ensure operational equipment is available when needed
- Conduct regular stock counts and monitor equipment usage to minimize losses and control costs
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety regulations, hygiene requirements, and hazardous materials handling procedures
- Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and cost management within the department
- Support banquet and large-scale event operations to ensure seamless execution of guest functions
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and foster a positive, engaging team environment
- Collaborate closely with department heads to maintain Hilton's service excellence standards
