Fragomen is looking for an experienced Business Immigration Consultant/ Senior Consultant with strong Vietnam immigration experience to join our growing team in Hanoi or Ho Chi Minh City. The opportunity

As a Business Immigration Consultant/ Senior Consultant, you will be part of a high-performing team providing Vietnam immigration services and advice to local and multinational clients.

You will take ownership of assigned Vietnam immigration matters from start to finish, working directly with clients and assignees and providing guidance on immigration processes, requirements and timelines. Drawing on your existing knowledge of Vietnam immigration regulations and processes, you will also work closely with our senior team members on more complex cases, advisory matters and escalations.

As an experienced member of the team, you will have the opportunity to support and guide more junior Consultants, sharing your practical Vietnam immigration knowledge while continuing to develop your own technical expertise with the goal of becoming a subject matter expert.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing Vietnam immigration cases from initiation through to completion, ensuring applications and supporting documentation are complete, accurate and delivered on time

• Acting as a key day-to-day contact for clients and providing guidance on Vietnam immigration processes, requirements and timelines

• Working closely with clients, assignees and relevant stakeholders to identify and resolve immigration issues

• Identifying complex matters or potential risks and working with senior team members to develop appropriate immigration solutions and client advice

• Supporting consultation and advisory work relating to Vietnam immigration for new and existing clients

• Keeping abreast of developments, trends and changes in Vietnam immigration regulations and practices, and sharing relevant knowledge with the wider team

• Continuing to build your technical expertise in Vietnam immigration, with the opportunity to develop into a subject matter expert

• Providing guidance and support to junior Consultants and contributing to knowledge sharing and training across the team

• Supporting client initiatives, training and thought leadership activities as required

Let’s talk if you are…

• An experienced immigration professional with ideally 3 to 6 years of relevant experience, preferably with hands-on experience in Vietnam immigration

• Experienced in managing Vietnam immigration matters and comfortable advising clients on immigration processes and requirements

• A diploma or degree holder in any discipline; a background in Law or Legal Services would be advantageous

• Interested in continuing to deepen your technical knowledge and expertise in Vietnam immigration

• Client-focused, with the ability to build strong relationships and confidently manage client queries

• An excellent written and verbal communicator who can explain complex immigration concepts clearly

• Analytical and solutions-focused, with strong research and judgement skills

• Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple cases, priorities and deadlines

• Comfortable working independently while knowing when to involve senior colleagues

• A collaborative team player who enjoys sharing knowledge and supporting the development of others

• Adaptable, proactive and able to work effectively in a fast-paced professional environment
