Ibotta is seeking an Business Analytics Manager to join the Revenue Strategy & Operations team. The team that drives actionable insights and the processes into revenue outcomes. This is not only a data reporting role. You will embed with the people who own Ibotta’s revenue, find the questions they should be asking, and answer those at a speed that changes how decisions get made. You’ll do that by working AI-natively — using agents and LLM tooling as a core part of how you explore data, build, and ship, not as an occasional assist. We’re looking for someone with real analytics depth who has already rebuilt how they work around AI, and who wants to set that standard for the rest of the organization.
This position is located in Denver, Colorado as a hybrid position requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Candidates must live in the United States.
Not based in Denver? We will offer a relocation bonus to help make your move to the Mile High City a smooth one.
What you will be doing:
Embed within the Revenue organization to understand how they make decisions, then reframe vague asks into the question actually worth answering
Build and ship insight products at speed: analyses, models, and scalable visualizations that reach the whole Revenue org, not one-off pulls for one requester
Use AI agents and LLM tooling to compress the cycle from question to answer, and continuously raise the ceiling on what one person can deliver
Serve as a design partner to Ibotta’s core Data and Analytics teams — advise on data models, metric definitions, and semantic layers so Revenue’s needs are built into the foundation rather than worked around
Own the quality bar on AI-assisted output: validate results, know where the model is wrong, and make the reasoning inspectable to stakeholders
Develop internal patterns, tooling, and documentation that let others in Revenue work this way too
What we are looking for:
5-7+ years in analytics, business intelligence, analytics engineering, or data science, with a track record of work that changed a business decision
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a quantitative, technical, or business field preferred
Experience shipping meaningful work using LLMs, coding agents, or agentic workflows, and ability to speak specifically about what worked, what failed, and how you verified the output. Exposure alone is not enough
Advanced SQL, including complex modeling and semantic layer design, on a modern warehouse (Databricks, Snowflake, BigQuery or similar) preferred
Experience building in a modern visualization platform (Looker, Tableau, Power BI or similar) and clear opinions about when a dashboard is the wrong answer preferred
Proven business instincts — you can read a revenue model, understand what drives it, and prioritize by impact rather than by request order
Excellent communication skills; able to move between a technical data conversation and an executive recommendation without losing either audience
Operates with high autonomy in ambiguity
