As the Business Analyst – Billing, you are responsible to analyze billing and payment operations and drive process and technology improvements. This role partners cross-functionally to translate business needs into clear requirements, support solution delivery, and enhance operational efficiency, customer experience, and financial outcomes. Highly prefer experience in a corporate billing function.
In this role you will report to the Director, Customer Success, and work a hybrid work schedule from our local office (2 days in office, 3 days remotely).
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the analysis, design, and optimization of billing and payment processes and platforms
Evaluate business operations, data trends, and performance metrics to identify risks and improvement opportunities
Develop process maps, use cases, and functional requirements
Act as the voice of stakeholders, incorporating feedback from frontline teams and customers
Collaborate with Sales, Service, Product, Finance, Accounting, and Technology teams
Support project delivery, including requirement clarification, risk identification, and issue resolution
Participate in testing strategy, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and production releases
Assist with training, documentation, and post-implementation support
Contribute to business cases, project documentation, and operational reporting
Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
MBA preferred
Experience:
5+ years in Business Analysis, Operations, Product, or Project Management (up to 9 years preferred)
Skills:
Requirements gathering and process mapping
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
Experience with SDLC methodologies (Agile/SAFe, Waterfall)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Familiarity with tools such as ADO, JIRA, Confluence, Visio, Lucid, or Miro, and Smartsheets
SQL and data visualization tools (Power Bi) experience preferred
Additional Information:
Operates with moderate supervision, applying sound judgment to solve complex problems
Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts clearly
May mentor junior team members
Travel: Up to 10% domestic travel

Compensation:
$68,900.00 - $118,050.00 USDThis role is eligible for Bonus.
Compensation range listed is based on primary location of the position. Actual base salary offer is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skills, experience and actual hiring location.
