JOB SUMMARY: Design, develop, modify, implement, and support data warehouse and business intelligence (BI) solutions to support new and existing business initiatives. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve data quality and performance issues within business intelligence data, reporting, and analytics platform. Work in collaboration with BI delivery team leaders, business analysts, and business leaders to understand business requirements and end user's needs. Collaborate and communicate to understand the business needs and the business processes being measured. Review changes in upstream systems, provide feedback and input in design decisions. Communicate and coordinate upcoming changes, impact and impact mitigation steps or related changes with all relevant stakeholders. Perform peer code or change reviews and data quality validations. Participate in active discussions with team members and users to understand business requirements. Work closely with IT, Architecture, Business Analysts and Report Developers to achieve business requirements and objectives. Implement best practice solutions per development standards established by BI architecture. Produce ad hoc reports to address business questions. Develop technology documentation to support production deployments and ongoing maintenance of reporting and data solutions. Communicate complex topics and analyses to non-technical business personnel. Provide accurate level of effort estimates for data integration development to management. Perform data integration using ETL methodologies and SQL in large-scale environments using relations database systems including Teradata, SQL Server, or Redshift. Support data warehousing architecture, data sourcing/acquisition, integration, transformation, and presentation. Design and develop SQL server, Teradata, or Redshift stored procedures to load and update data in reporting marts. Support solution architecture, design, development, and implementation of business intelligence or data warehouse projects. Utilize Unix scripting or MS scripting for data ingestion, data processing, and ETL wrapper.
EDUCATION/
REQUIREMENTS: Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. 5 years of experience in: using ETL methodologies and SQL in large-scale environments using relations database systems including Teradata, SQL Server, or Redshift; data warehousing architecture, data sourcing/acquisition, integration, transformation, and presentation; designing and developing SQL server, Teradata, or Redshift stored procedures to load and update data in reporting marts; in solution architecture, design, development, and implementation of business intelligence or data warehouse projects; and 1 year of experience using Unix scripting or MS scripting for data ingestion, data processing, and ETL wrapper.
OR
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. 7 years of experience in: data integration using ETL methodologies and SQL in large-scale environments using relations database systems including Teradata, SQL Server, or Redshift; data warehousing architecture, data sourcing/acquisition, integration, transformation, and presentation; designing and developing SQL server, Teradata, or Redshift stored procedures to load and update data in reporting marts; and solution architecture, design, development, and implementation of business intelligence or data warehouse projects. 3 years of experience using Unix scripting or MS scripting for data ingestion, data processing, and ETL wrapper.
