We are looking for a Senior Automation Infrastructure Engineer with a strong engineering and operational mindset to join our Release Management Squad (RMS) and play a key role in building and operating our testing platform at scale. This role focuses on owning the reliability, performance and observability of automated validation systems. You will design and evolve scalable automation solutions for functional and non-functional testing, build and operate CI/CD pipelines with embedded quality gates, and ensure full visibility into automation and product quality through monitoring, dashboards and KPIs. Working closely with R&D and DevOps, you will integrate automation deeply into the delivery lifecycle, while continuously improving automation infrastructure, environments, and best practices to support efficient, reliable, and scalable product validation.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and evolve scalable automation solutions for functional and non‑functional testing.
- Ensure reliability & stability of automated validation systems.
- Design and maintain observability of automation systems health and product quality, including development of status dashboards, alerts and KPIs.
- Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and quality gates (GitHub Actions or equivalent) to ensure automated validation is an integral part of the release process.
Develop automation processes for non‑functional requirements, including performance, reliability, stability, and upgrade validations.
Create and maintain automation environments to support product permutations and non-functional requirements.
Collaborate with development and DevOps teams to integrate automation into build, deployment, and release pipelines.
Continuously improve automation infrastructure, tooling, and best practices.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of hands-on experience in automation engineering or infrastructure automation roles.
- Proven experience owning or supporting CI/CD pipelines, including troubleshooting failures, improving reliability, and maintaining stability.
- Strong system-level understanding with the ability to analyze and debug complex issues end-to-end across services, environments, and infrastructure.
- Experience with monitoring, observability, and operational ownership, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Solid understanding of automation strategies for functional and non-functional testing, including performance, reliability, and stability.
- Excellent analytical and troubleshooting skills, with the ability to investigate issues across the full system stack.
- High level of ownership, proactive mindset, and ability to work independently in a cross-team environment.
- Strong communication skills and high level of English – required.
