Das Ausbildungsprofil:
Von der Reservierung, über das "Hallo, Herzlich Willkommen bei uns!" bis zur Abreise der Gäste – Hotelfachleute bei Hilton sind die Spezialisten wenn es darum geht, unseren internationalen Gästen einen unvergesslichen Aufenthalt zu bereiten.
Die Hotelfachausbildung bietet eine große Bandbreite an Einblicken, grundsätzlich etwa in die Bereiche Rezeption (Front Office), Restaurant, Bar, Küche, Reservierung, Verkauf, Veranstaltungen und in weitere Spezialabteilungen. Der Unterricht in der Berufsschule rundet die nötigen berufsspezifischen Zusammenhänge unterstützend ab.
In kaum einer anderen Berufsausbildung lernst du so früh, bereits erste Verantwortung zu übernehmen, Erwartungen zu übertreffen, Netzwerke zu knüpfen und auf diese Weise Deine Persönlichkeit zu entfalten.
Du darfst dich ausprobieren und dich einbringen. Du kannst selbst als Gast andere Hilton Hotels entdecken. Nach der Ausbildung stehen Dir zahllose Wege offen – Bei Hilton ausgebildete Hotelfachleute sind international gefragt.
ResponsibilitiesIm Laufe deiner Ausbildung durchläufst du viele interessante Abteilungen, unter Anderem:
- Housekeeping: Sauberkeit ist super wichtig
- Rezeption: Hier werden die Gäste ein- und ausgecheckt
- Roomservice: Gäste können Essen & Getränke auf ihr Zimmer bestellen
- Bankett: Betreuung von coolen Events und Veranstaltungen
- u.v.m.
Man lernt die Grundlagen der Hotellerie schnell kennen und in 296 Zimmern kannst du dein Können unter Beweis stellen und einiges lernen. Kein Tag ist gleich und im Hotel ist immer etwas los.
Neben deiner Ausbildung hast du natürlich auch Schule. Das Berufskolleg Ehrenfeld hat im Jahr 3 Blöcke die jeweils 4-6 Wochen lang sind. Dort lernst du die Hotellerie theoretisch kennen und dein Wissen kannst du nach dem Schulblock direkt in der Praxis im Hilton Cologne anwenden.

- Du verfügst über gute Umgangsformen und eine positive, gepflegte Erscheinung
Vorteilhaft (aber nicht zwingend erforderlich) ist, wenn du bereits praktische Erfahrungen im Bereich der Gastronomie oder Hotellerie gemacht hast (z.B. in Form eines Praktikums) und du so deine Leidenschaft für diese spannende Branche entdecken konntest.
