As an Assistant Housekeeping Manager (m/f/d), you’re not just helping oversee daily housekeeping operations – you’re spreading the light and warmth of hospitality by delivering memorable experiences that make the stay for every guest.
ResponsibilitiesHere's what you'll do during a typical day:
- Support daily housekeeping operations: Assist in managing cleanliness, service, and product quality standards in guest rooms, public spaces, restrooms, offices, and meeting areas
- Manage room readiness: Assign and inspect rooms, verify status, and report updates to ensure timely availability
- Monitor inventory: Maintain stock levels for linens and housekeeping supplies, ensuring carts and storage areas are properly stocked
- Support operational efficiency: Track payroll reports, manage work schedules, and oversee the lost and found program
- Coordinate maintenance needs: Partner with Engineering and Property Operations to facilitate timely repairs and upkeep of guest rooms and public spaces
- Inspire and develop the team: Supervise and support team members, monitor performance, provide coaching, and foster a positive and productive work environment
- Cover for the Executive Housekeeper: Stand in for the Executive Housekeeper when he or she is absent
What It Takes to Make the Stay
- Sense of responsibility, resilience, and assertiveness
- Ability to work under pressure and take initiative in handling tasks
- Several years of professional experience in housekeeping at a comparable hotel; at least as Housekeeping Supervisor
- Experience leading multicultural teams of a comparable size and strong communication skills
- Ideally, a completed vocational training program in the hotel industry
- Ability to quickly familiarize yourself with new work processes
- Willingness to work shifts and flexibility to adapt to different work situations
- Knowledge of hygiene and cleaning standards, as well as cleaning supplies and equipment
- Very good command of German and English, additional languages are a plus
- Valid authorization to work and reside in Germany

Skills Required
- Several years of professional housekeeping experience in a comparable hotel
- Experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor
- Experience leading multicultural teams of comparable size
- Strong communication skills
- Completed vocational training program in the hotel industry
- Willingness to work shifts and adapt to different work situations
