Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Java Developer with 2-4 years of hands-on development experience. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot, strong proficiency in relational databases, and practical experience with Microsoft Azure cloud services. A passion for learning new technologies and leveraging modern developer productivity tools like GitHub Copilot is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architect, design, and develop robust Java-based applications and microservices.
- Build cloud-native solutions using Azure services such as App Services, Functions, Storage, Key Vault, and Azure SQL.
- Optimize database design and queries for performance and scalability.
- Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and enforce best practices.
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps or equivalent tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
- Continuously explore and adopt new technologies and tools to improve development efficiency.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in development and production environments.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in Java development (Java 8+), with strong expertise in Spring Boot and RESTful APIs.
- JLPT N2/N3 certified.
- Deep understanding of relational databases (Azure SQL, PostgreSQL, MySQL) and SQL optimization.
- Hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
- Familiarity with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes/AKS).
- Experience with Git, GitHub, and CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps.
- Exposure to developer productivity tools such as GitHub Copilot, IntelliJ IDEA, and code linters.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Azure certifications (e.g., AZ-204, AZ-900) are a plus.
- Experience with monitoring and logging tools (Azure Monitor, Application Insights).
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to learn and apply new technologies quickly.
