Job Purpose and Impact
- The Professional, Application Development job will apply a basic understanding of Business Analysis and agile practices to develop, implement, support, and maintain cloud platforms and software applications within the ERP organization. In this role, you will partner with platform product teams and stakeholders to implement SAP, SAP BTP, Microsoft Azure, and other third-party software applications in alignment with approved technologies, architecture, and business processes. With limited supervision, this role leads a team of engineers and cross-functional stakeholders through software development of low-code and custom product solutions, bringing technical aptitude and execution skills to facilitate.
Key Accountabilities
- PRODUCT MANAGEMENT: Use project management and business analysis skills to support the management of the products in the portfolio. Use project tools to document deliverables and facilitate agile activities.
- APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT & DEPLOYMENT: Use a general understanding of architecture standards and business processes to define and govern the software applications direction. Participate in investigations of moderately complex business and system issues to research and identify innovative solutions.
- USER COMMUNICATION & SUPPORT: Keeps an open channel of communication with users and responds to standard and moderately complex application development requests and needs.
- APPLICATION SUPPORT: Coordinates advanced and complex application support activities to deliver on business outcomes.
- STAKEHOLDER MANAGEMENT: Works with multi-functional teams, including developers, product managers and business partners to ensure products align with standards and project goals.
- INCIDENT & REQUEST MANAGEMENT: Reviews, analyzes and prioritizes incoming incident tickets and user requests.
- VENDOR MANAGEMENT: Handles positive relationships, meetings, and expectations with software vendors.
Qualifications
- Minimum requirement of 2 years of relevant work experience. Typically reflects 3 years or more of relevant experience.
Preferred Qualifications
- Process management and/or process improvement, Six Sigma knowledge or certification.PMI PMP or Agile certification
- Cloud Platform knowledge (PowerPlatform, Azure, other third-party)
- SAP BTP knowledge (datasphere, WorkZone, integration suite, Business Application Studio)
- AI services and/or applications experience
Pay Transparency
The expected salary for this position is $71,000.00-120,000.00. Compensation varies depending on a wide array of factors including but not limited to the specific location, certifications, education, and level of experience. The disclosed range estimate may be adjusted for any applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. This position is eligible for a discretionary incentive award. The incentive award amount is dependent upon company performance and your personal performance.
Minnesota Sick and Safe Leave accruals of one hour for every 30 worked, up to 48 hours per calendar year unless otherwise provided by law.
