As a Manager in our Accounting team, you will be pivotal in overseeing the daily operations of a team of entry-level professionals. Your role will focus on ensuring accurate and timely financial records, reporting, and compliance with established accounting policies and fiscal controls. This entry-level management position is perfect for those passionate about fostering growth and guiding team members toward achieving common goals while safeguarding the organization's assets.
Responsibilities:
Provide day‑to‑day leadership, prioritization, and operational support to a team of accounting professionals across GL, cash application, and payments activities.
Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial transactions, including journal entries, cash postings, payment runs, and account movements.
Oversee period‑end close activities, supporting the preparation and review of financial statements, reconciliations, and management reports.
Review and approve account reconciliations, ensuring clear documentation, timely resolution of discrepancies, and strong balance sheet integrity.
Monitor compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and governance frameworks across all accounting processes.
Ensure proper execution and control of payment processes, including segregation of duties, approval workflows, and adherence to internal policies.
Support internal and external audits by preparing documentation, addressing audit queries, and implementing remediation actions where applicable.
Act as a key point of contact for cross‑functional stakeholders (Treasury, AP, AR, Tax, Finance) to ensure accurate and consistent financial data flow.
Identify opportunities for process optimization, standardization, and automation, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within Accounting Operations.
Coach, mentor, and develop team members, supporting performance management, knowledge building, and career growth.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in Finance or Accounting roles with exposure to operational accounting processes.
2+ years of experience in people coordination or first‑line leadership is preferred.
Solid understanding of general accounting principles and end‑to‑end financial processes.
Advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
Strong Excel skills, including data analysis and reporting
SAP knowledge is a plus.
Prior experience in a corporate or shared services environment is an advantage.
