SRAM is seeking innovative and passionate individuals to join us for a unique summer internship experience. Our interns will join a team of highly collaborative and cross-functional professionals who lead the industry in bicycle component products. To gain valuable hands-on experience working alongside finance and accounting professionals while building a strong foundation for achieving your career goals.
Responsibilities
- Opportunity to learn SRAM's global finance and general ledger reporting structure
- Gain proficiency in ERP software (SAP) and Microsoft suite of products
- Assist in month-end close procedures in accordance with the global finance team
- Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations
- Assist with preparation and review of monthly and quarterly financial and tax filings
- Participate in various process improvement initiatives and continuous improvement efforts around general accounting processes
- Perform monthly analysis of actual to plan operating expense results, and deliver results to finance team
- Assist North America Controller, Tax Director, and other finance managers on special projects
Qualifications
- Pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
- Good understanding of accounting theory and practices
- Knowledge of US GAAP, including willingness to research and resolve accounting applications
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrate strong work ethic, and self-starter capabilities in a dynamic and cross-functional team environment
- Ability to operate efficiently, independently, and to seek constant improvement in achieving team goals

The compensation range for this role is $17 - $23 per hour based on skills and experience level.
