The Financial Systems Analyst (Workday) will be responsible for managing, optimizing, and supporting our Workday Financial Management and Adaptive Planning systems to ensure accurate financial data, compliance, and efficient processes. This role partners with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to configure modules, develop reports, troubleshoot issues, and drive process improvements. The analyst also supports strategic initiatives and system enhancements to align technology with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
System Administration & Configuration
- Configure and maintain Workday Financial modules (General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Expenses, Procurement, Projects).
- Ensure system configurations comply with financial and regulatory standards.
- Execute system utilities and processes to maintain data integrity.
Reporting & Analytics
- Develop and maintain standard and ad-hoc financial reports and dashboards.
- Create custom reports using Workday reporting tools and EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder).
- Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
- Participate in Corporate reporting, budgeting process and other finance related activities as needed
Support & Troubleshooting
- Act as subject matter expert for Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning.
- Provide end-user support and resolve system inquiries.
- Troubleshoot issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate fixes with internal/external teams.
- Monitor integrations and resolve errors promptly.
Project & Process Improvement
- Participate in Workday enhancement projects and system upgrades.
- Gather requirements, design solutions, and assist with implementation.
- Identify opportunities for automation and process optimization.
- Support testing activities, including test scenario creation and tracking.
Collaboration
- Work closely with Finance, Accounting, and IT teams to ensure system efficiency and compliance.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as HR and Risk Management.
Qualifications & Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3-5 years experience and knowledge of Workday Financials and Adaptive Planning administration.
- Strong functional knowledge of finance and accounting operations, with hands-on experience in applying these principles within a corporate environment.
- Proficiency in Workday reporting tools, calculated fields, and integrations and security.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Intermediate to Advanced Excel skills.
- Familiarity with US GAAP is a plus.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
- Background in supporting companies with international operations is a plus
