Coverage for treatments, medications and other forms of fertility care is becoming an increasingly popular offering in employee benefits packages. Approximately 40 percent of U.S. employers provide fertility benefits, according to the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. Many of them include in-vitro fertilization, or IVF, which is a common but often costly treatment option for someone who wants to be a parent. We’ve put together a list of some companies that cover IVF to support employees who want to build a family.

Uber connects riders with freelance drivers via an app that takes payments, tracks locations and provides safety features. Work life at Uber includes family planning benefits for eligible employees. Workers can use these benefits for medical consultations and fertility treatment, including IVF. 

 

Pinterest is a virtual inspiration platform that allows users to accumulate virtual artifacts into mood boards. In addition to generous parental leave and paid leave for NICU births and pregnancy losses, the company provides coverage for two cycles of IVF and egg freezing for all benefits-eligible employees.

 

Salesforce makes a cloud-based CRM software system that companies can use to cohere all their departments into one management dashboard. It offers its employees fertility support that includes coverage for treatment options such as IVF.
