Leads overall YMCA branch operations, financial performance, staff development, fundraising, membership and program growth, facility and aquatics oversight, safety compliance, strategic initiatives, and community partnerships. Manages a multimillion-dollar budget, develops leaders and volunteers, cultivates donors and board members, and represents the YMCA across the community.

Supports membership growth and retention by leading member service, enrollment conversations, community engagement, and partnership development. Trains, supervises, and mentors 25 part-time staff; resolves member concerns; coordinates events and workshops; and assists members seeking financial assistance. The role promotes YMCA values, strengthens community relationships, and supports organizational membership goals.

Supervises daily aquatic and pool operations, maintaining safety, sanitation, program quality, and member service. Assists with recruiting, hiring, training, scheduling, and supervising approximately 20–40 lifeguards and aquatic staff. Performs lifeguard and swim lesson duties, fills staffing gaps, leads staff meetings, maintains certifications, supports pool and equipment maintenance, and builds positive community relationships. Must be able to complete lifeguard certification and perform physically demanding water rescues.

Leads YMCA childcare site operations, supervises Group Leaders, provides direct child care, develops lesson plans and activities, communicates with families, maintains safety and licensing compliance, manages attendance and program records, and supports staff training, evaluations, and YMCA engagement initiatives.

Provides childcare and early learning readiness activities for infants, toddlers, and school-age children. Facilitates age-appropriate crafts and physical activities, supervises children and staff, manages check-in and checkout, communicates with families and coworkers, maintains safety, sanitation, organization, and program materials, and supports YMCA member engagement and policies.

Lead and supervise school-age children in a safe, engaging environment. Plan and run activities, maintain attendance and transitions, communicate with parents, enforce safety and child-protection policies, attend trainings, and support YMCA mission during AM or PM shifts at various school sites.

Supervise daily pool operations, ensure aquatic safety, model positive behavior, assist Aquatic Director with hiring, training, scheduling, staff meetings, certifications, and community engagement to support program excellence.

Coordinate and support daytime/evening pool parties: set up spaces, communicate with parents and aquatic staff, check in guests and collect waivers, lead age-appropriate activities, maintain a safe welcoming environment, update party calendar, and attend required trainings and meetings.
