Lead enterprise safety strategy and programs for transportation of petroleum, chemicals, and dry bulk. Ensure regulatory compliance, drive accident prevention and risk management, oversee driver and employee safety initiatives, manage incident investigations, analyze safety data and KPIs, and supervise regional safety teams to reduce accidents and improve safety culture.

Provides high-level administrative, operational, and strategic support to the CEO and CFO, managing calendars, board and executive meetings, travel, confidential materials, action items, and finance-related coordination. Prepares executive presentations, supports M&A and special projects, maintains filing/version control, and drives process improvements while upholding confidentiality and executive presence.

Manage daily CSC operations, supervise and train operations associates, drivers, and technicians; assign and prioritize loads; coordinate with fleet managers and customers; ensure regulatory compliance, efficient staffing, paperwork completion, and cover center management in manager absence.

Perform monthly reconciliations, general ledger analysis, journal entries, fixed asset management, regulatory reporting, month‑end/year‑end close, audit support, and produce financial statements. Recommend process improvements and maintain prepaid expense schedules, ACH/wire controls, and compliance with GAAP for fuel and chemical transportation operations.

Oversee regional transportation safety and regulatory compliance (DOT, federal, state), conduct HS&E audits and driver observations, investigate accidents, lead safety meetings, liaise with agencies, monitor driver performance and hours-of-service, and support retention and counseling initiatives. Frequent regional travel required.

Support month-end/year-end close, reconcile balance sheet and cash accounts, post journal entries, manage fuel inventory and tax reporting, assist audits, maintain fixed assets, and produce transportation financial KPIs.

Support DOT compliance and safety by maintaining driver qualification files, coordinating and auditing training, assisting with permitting and insurance, monitoring inspections, and cross-training across compliance, recruiting, and risk management.

Support FP&A team with financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial modeling. Maintain spreadsheets and dashboards, assist month-end processes, monitor KPIs, and perform ad hoc analyses. Collaborate with cross-functional partners and contribute to process improvements and documentation.
