The HR Business Partner aligns HR strategies with business objectives and advises leaders and employees on employee relations, compliance, talent management, benefits, leave administration, training, onboarding, and performance management. The role administers HRIS processes, investigates workplace concerns, supports policy implementation, ensures compliance with employment laws, conducts orientations, and partners with management to improve retention, productivity, and workplace relationships.

Manage customer rate setup, maintenance, updates, and dispute resolution. Investigate billing variances, verify fuel surcharges and accessorials, reconcile data across systems, and answer rate questions from customers and internal departments. Coordinate with Billing, Payroll, Sales, and Operations to resolve issues affecting invoices and driver pay. Document procedures, recommend process improvements, and cross-train teammates while maintaining high accuracy and timely rate entry.

Performs reconciliations, journal entries, general ledger analysis, month-end and year-end close activities, fuel inventory accounting, tax reporting, cash management, audit support, fixed asset maintenance, and financial KPI reporting. The role supports transportation-specific accounting operations, including fuel tax filings, fuel card reconciliation, and coordination with terminal operations while maintaining internal controls and regulatory compliance.
