Own product positioning, messaging, launches, sales enablement, competitive intelligence, customer proof, buyer research, segmentation, and packaging for Spade’s financial data and AI platform. Build the product marketing function from scratch while partnering closely with product, sales, executives, founders, enterprise sellers, and customers. The role requires hands-on B2B product marketing experience, fintech or financial services expertise, technical product positioning, AI system development, enterprise launch experience, and exceptional writing.

Build and maintain end-to-end customer-facing products using React and TypeScript on the frontend and Python/Django on the backend. Develop scalable APIs and data platform services, debug production issues, improve engineering practices, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver customer value. The role requires autonomous ownership in a fast-paced startup environment and hybrid work from Spade’s NYC office at least two days per week.

Own the full sales cycle for banks and credit unions, from prospecting through close. Develop account plans, conduct needs assessments, map stakeholders, position technical solutions, and build pipeline through research, networking, and outreach. Partner with the CRO, AEs, and founders to refine sales strategy, improve processes, and provide product feedback. The role requires experience selling to financial institutions and communicating the value of technical products.

Provide high-trust administrative support to two founders by managing complex calendars, triaging communications, coordinating detailed travel logistics, preparing investor and board meetings, supporting interviews, handling sensitive information, and contributing to special projects and company culture.

Analyze transaction enrichment product performance, data quality, accuracy, match rates, and other metrics. Investigate anomalies in large datasets, build dashboards and automated alerts, improve QA processes and workflows, and develop documentation and monitoring standards. Partner with Product, Engineering, and AI/ML Data Science teams to translate insights into product improvements and automate recurring analytical work.

Build and own low-latency, highly scalable backend APIs and data systems for transaction enrichment. Design infrastructure, implement data pipelines, debug production issues, and collaborate cross-functionally to deliver reliable products processing billions of transactions.

Own 5–10 enterprise customer relationships from implementation through renewal and expansion. Build executive partnerships, lead QBRs, renewals, pricing negotiations, and cross-functional deal execution. Identify expansion opportunities and manage the full sales cycle. Represent customer needs internally by partnering with engineering, product, and solutions engineering on technical investigations, implementations, and roadmap priorities.

Own security for Spade's production edge: manage PKI and mutual-TLS certificate lifecycle, design private network connectivity and webhook delivery security, drive vulnerability remediation, codify secure-build standards, and collaborate across engineering and product to improve overall security posture.

Build and ship end-to-end ML/AI systems (traditional ML, NLP, LLMs/AI agents) on transaction, merchant, and location data. Prototype, productionize, and monitor models, collaborate with engineering and product, and (for senior hires) shape roadmap and mentor teammates.

Own the full sales cycle for fintech customers, build pipeline through research and networking, collaborate with CRO and cross-functional teams, provide product feedback, manage forecasting and close deals while helping define sales strategy at an early-stage startup.
