Supervise and coordinate specimen processing and phlebotomy operations in a hospital laboratory: hire, train, schedule, and evaluate staff; maintain policies and regulatory compliance (CAP, JCAHO, Medicare); oversee billing and reporting; collaborate with patient accounting, medical records, and information services to ensure accurate results and charges.

Maintain and support compliance systems, design and build new functionality for automation, auditing, monitoring, and reporting. Serve as SME on workflows and processes, support end users across the Southeast Health system, and assist Corporate Compliance leadership on projects and process improvements.

Perform daily cleaning and restocking of patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, and corridors. Operate vacuums, dry/wet mop floors, make beds, and follow housekeeping procedures to maintain a safe, sanitary environment.

Supervise daily operations in a laboratory section, ensure compliance with standards, and participate in relevant committees.

Perform acute-care case management and discharge planning, assess patients’ post-acute needs, develop and implement discharge plans, coordinate with clinical teams and community resources, and perform readmission reviews to ensure quality outcomes and timely discharge.
