Performs diagnostic radiologic and fluoroscopic examinations for hospital patients, including emergency and surgical cases. Operates imaging equipment, follows radiation safety and infection prevention policies, documents exams and patient information in PACS, communicates patient histories to radiologists, and maintains exam competency. Provides evening-shift call support and responds to hospital requests within 30 minutes.

Register and admit patients, collect signatures and billing information, verify insurance and obtain authorizations, schedule services, post/verify charges, assist with medical records and financial assistance, and provide front-line customer service in clinic and hospital settings.

Performs nightly environmental services cleaning in patient rooms, nursing stations, lounges, bathrooms, offices, corridors, and other assigned areas. Duties include supplying rooms, making beds, vacuuming, and wet- and dry-mopping floors while following housekeeping procedures to maintain a safe, sanitary environment.

Works evening second shift and communicates effectively with staff and patients as needed.

Provides physical security for people and property across a healthcare facility and its grounds. Responds to emergencies, enforces hospital security policies and applicable laws, and uses investigative and violence de-escalation procedures. Requires effective English communication, a valid driver’s license, and experience in law enforcement or security management. Military experience may be considered.

Assists with safe, timely patient transitions from acute inpatient care to appropriate settings, including home care, hospice, skilled nursing, or home. Supports discharge activities, admissions, patient throughput, care coordination, communication, problem-solving, and collaboration with healthcare teams.

Provides nursing care to adult and geriatric medical/surgical patients, contributing to assessments and participating in care planning, implementation, and evaluation. Maintains hospital and Alabama Board of Nursing standards, supports patient discharge planning, interprets life-threatening dysrhythmias, completes required competencies, and works independently within established policies and procedures.

Performs phlebotomy, specimen accessioning, and non-technical laboratory duties across hospital, outpatient, and off-site services. Handles LIS accessioning and reference laboratory send-outs during the day shift on a per diem basis.

Supervises hospital distribution, receiving, central supply, warehouse, inventory control, material handling, and customer service operations. Assigns tasks, schedules staff, trains and evaluates employees, enforces policies, and improves supply chain efficiency. Oversees equipment cleaning, decontamination, maintenance, safety, inspections, quality improvement, and clinically integrated supply chain initiatives supporting patient care.

Performs microbiology laboratory specimen collection, processing, testing, quality control, result verification, reporting, and troubleshooting. Maintains laboratory instruments, completes calibrations, follows safety and infection-control procedures, resolves order and specimen issues, and supports accurate pre-analytic, analytic, and post-analytic workflows. The role is a day-shift, per-diem position with limited scheduled hours.

Supervises patient care and unit personnel on a designated cardiology and telemetry medical-surgical shift. Coordinates, delegates, and evaluates nursing activities; provides clinical leadership and supports patient outcomes, family-centered care, education, and satisfaction. The role requires rotating weekend call, Alabama RN licensure, charge nurse experience, specialty certification, BSN education or enrollment, and clinical certifications including BLS, ACLS or related courses, and intermediate EKG training.

Performs CT examinations, reviews images for technical accuracy, presents completed studies to radiologists, and communicates relevant patient information to care teams. Maintains patient confidentiality, follows radiation safety and infection prevention policies, documents examinations in PACS, charges exams and supplies accurately, performs point-of-care creatinine testing, and maintains competency across departmental exams.

Coordinates pathology administration, including transcription, billing and coding, pathology information system updates, reporting, specimen send-outs, and workload coordination with technical staff and offsite transcriptionists. Maintains laboratory administrative office systems and procedures while supporting efficient department operations.

Provide nursing care to adult and geriatric medical/surgical and orthopedics patients. Perform assessments, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care per hospital policies and Alabama Board of Nursing. Maintain BLS and EKG competency, complete unit-specific annual competencies, and document using hospital computer systems. Day shift, FTE 0.9.

Provides employee transportation and patient sitting services during evening shifts. Interacts with patients and employees, communicates effectively in English, and applies customer service and public relations skills. The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, one to two years of public relations or customer service experience, a valid driver’s license, and a minimum age of 26 for insurance coverage.

Provides overnight physician leadership and direct patient care for a hospital or clinic. Maintains patient-care standards, coordinates multidisciplinary teams, supports quality assurance and continuous improvement, addresses medical staff issues, communicates during emergencies, and assists with departmental policies, business planning, financial controls, and physician relations.
