Ensures compliance with FAR, CAS, and DCAA requirements in an aerospace manufacturing environment. Prepares incurred cost submissions, maintains pricing and indirect rates, supports government audits, develops cost allocation methodologies, analyzes variances, and assists with contract pricing. The role also maintains ERP cost segregation, strengthens internal controls, supports timekeeping compliance, and collaborates with program management and contracts teams.

Plans and sequences machining operations from blueprints and engineering specifications. Sets up, programs, adjusts, and operates CNC and conventional lathes, mills, grinders, and specialized equipment. Selects tools, determines feeds and speeds, performs measurements and inspections, interprets GD&T, monitors SPC charts, maintains equipment, edits CNC programs, and ensures quality and safety standards.

Plans and sequences machining operations from blueprints, sketches, and engineering documents. Sets up and operates CNC and manual lathes, mills, grinders, and specialized machinery; selects tooling, adjusts feeds and speeds, develops CNC programs, and performs inspections using GD&T and SPC requirements. Fabricates and repairs metal components, maintains quality and safety records, performs minor maintenance, and may lead coworkers or support process improvement initiatives.

Lead multidisciplinary NPI engineering projects from proposal through production transition. Define scope, create detailed plans, manage cross-functional teams, track cost and schedule, mitigate risks, present status to leadership, and ensure compliance with safety and customer requirements.

Leads multidisciplinary aerospace engineering and new product introduction projects from proposal through manufacturing transition. Defines scope, deliverables, plans, schedules, budgets, risks, and performance metrics; coordinates Systems, Software, Mechanical, Electrical, Production, Quality, Programs, and Supply Chain teams. Resolves execution issues, presents project performance to leadership and customers, ensures compliance with aerospace standards and customer requirements, and drives continuous improvement.

Lead strategic sourcing and supplier transfer programs for aerospace and defense circuit card assemblies, PCBAs, electronic components, and manufacturing services. Develop dual-source strategies, qualify suppliers, negotiate contracts, drive cost reductions, manage production transitions, support NPI, monitor supplier performance, and mitigate risks involving component availability, obsolescence, geopolitical constraints, and capacity. Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Program Management while reporting sourcing progress and savings to executives.

Provide day-to-day HR operational and administrative support across recruiting, onboarding, HRIS and LMS administration, employee records, payroll/timekeeping assistance, employee engagement, and HR projects. Coordinate interviews, pre-employment screening, new hire logistics, training assignments, and maintain accurate confidential employee and training records to support the manufacturing site and HR team.

Manage negotiation, creation, and administration of commercial and U.S. government contracts (FAR/DFARS/ITAR). Provide contract compliance oversight, proposal/RFP analysis, claims negotiation, customer account management, DCMA/TINA support, data rights and commercial item assertions, and coach staff. Coordinate with procurement, engineering, ITC, and program managers; ensure flow-down, closeouts, and proper handling of customer property.

Support and improve assembly, test, and inspection processes for avionics and aerospace computers. Provide technical production support, troubleshoot component-level failures, lead root cause analysis and corrective actions, train technicians, collaborate with design and suppliers on sustaining production, evaluate and improve test equipment, and drive yield, throughput, capacity, and quality improvements.

Design, simulate, and validate electrical and electromechanical systems for fuels and proximity sensing in aerospace/defense. Develop switching power supplies, perform testing and troubleshooting, create engineering documentation, ensure compliance with EMI/EMC and environmental/airborne hardware standards, and collaborate across disciplines to meet product and quality requirements.

Design, develop, test, integrate, and maintain embedded real-time aerospace/defense software. Collaborate across engineering disciplines, produce bid materials, follow DO-178B/C processes, use requirements and lifecycle tools, and support audits and verification activities.

Lead architecture, integration, and lifecycle development of aerospace systems: derive system requirements, define architectures, perform integration, verification/validation, trade studies, and lead cross-functional engineering teams through deployment.

Develop, document, integrate, and support LabVIEW-based automated test equipment for aerospace products. Create test specifications, verification/validation procedures, debug test software/hardware interactions, support failure investigations, and coordinate with engineering, manufacturing, and suppliers to ensure on-time production and test coverage.
