Lead systems engineering for development, validation, and verification of aerospace control actuation systems. Define and decompose system requirements, perform performance analyses and trade studies, plan/execute V&V, and collaborate with hardware, firmware, embedded software, and test teams. Support customers, root-cause analysis, and technical documentation across program lifecycle.

Lead supplier qualification and oversight for PCB/CCA and electrical components in aerospace. Conduct audits, drive supplier corrective actions (8D/RCCA/CAPA), monitor performance metrics (PPM, OTD), and coach suppliers on high-reliability manufacturing and IPC/aerospace standards. Support failure investigations, FMEA, SPC, and supplier improvement projects; travel to suppliers as needed.

Support and improve assembly, test, and inspection processes for avionics and aerospace computers. Provide technical production support, troubleshoot component-level failures, lead root cause analysis and corrective actions, train technicians, collaborate with design and suppliers on sustaining production, evaluate and improve test equipment, and drive yield, throughput, capacity, and quality improvements.

Manage configuration and change control for engineering programs: maintain baselines, documentation, CM plans, chair/change boards, support audits, track change orders, and ensure AS9100 compliance.

Serve as the TINA supply chain focal by coordinating proposal activities across supply chain, contracts, and program teams to ensure Truth in Negotiations Act (TINA) and FAR Part 15 compliance. Analyze vendor quotes, develop bidding strategies, lead cross-functional discussions, support audits and negotiations, and complete TINA checklists for federal proposals.

Assist site operations by managing vehicle fleets and customer inquiries, support sales and marketing analysis, learn accounting and P&L processes, and prepare presentations for leadership.

Support production for aerospace electro-mechanical products by troubleshooting, analyzing failures, implementing design improvements, authoring change orders, leading qualification tests, reviewing hardware to drawings, and resolving field and procurement issues in an on-site Vergennes, VT role.

Manage negotiation, creation, and administration of commercial and U.S. government contracts (FAR/DFARS/ITAR). Provide contract compliance oversight, proposal/RFP analysis, claims negotiation, customer account management, DCMA/TINA support, data rights and commercial item assertions, and coach staff. Coordinate with procurement, engineering, ITC, and program managers; ensure flow-down, closeouts, and proper handling of customer property.

Design, simulate, and validate electrical and electromechanical systems for fuels and proximity sensing in aerospace/defense. Develop switching power supplies, perform testing and troubleshooting, create engineering documentation, ensure compliance with EMI/EMC and environmental/airborne hardware standards, and collaborate across disciplines to meet product and quality requirements.

Develop, document, integrate, and support LabVIEW-based automated test equipment for aerospace products. Create verification/validation procedures, debug test software/hardware interactions, investigate failures and corrective actions, support manufacturing for on-time delivery, and communicate technical status to stakeholders.

Support deployment and maintenance of desktops, laptops, servers, networks, and end-user devices; assist inventory and license tracking; create technical documentation and training materials; help migrate and support new IT systems while troubleshooting and communicating with non-technical staff.

Design, develop, test, integrate, and maintain embedded real-time aerospace/defense software. Collaborate across engineering disciplines, produce bid materials, follow DO-178B/C processes, use requirements and lifecycle tools, and support audits and verification activities.

Ensure aerospace product quality and compliance across lifecycle by developing QA processes, leading root cause/CAPA (8D, 5 Whys), supporting PFMEA and control plans, analyzing quality metrics, managing customer investigations/audits, and driving continuous improvement to reduce field defects and improve customer satisfaction.

Support ERP implementation and maintenance by cleansing and migrating data, participating in UAT and integration testing, documenting SOPs and user guides, generating reports using SQL/Excel, troubleshooting user issues, and tracking project tasks and milestones to improve operational efficiency.

Support engineering projects in an aerospace manufacturing environment to improve productivity and processes. Assist with automation initiatives, design and optimize fixtures and tooling, analyze production processes, collaborate cross-functionally, document results, and participate in continuous improvement activities.
