Develop and scale Schibsted’s advertising technology platform, including configuration tools, web interfaces, SDKs, libraries, and shared components. Investigate issues across applications, browsers, and SDKs, while using AI-assisted tools to prototype solutions. The role requires frontend and backend development with TypeScript, JavaScript, React, Node.js, and AWS services, plus understanding of iframe and cross-window communication.

Design and maintain cybersecurity infrastructure, including network security, endpoint protection, VPNs, firewalls, and intrusion detection. Support journalists and editors in reducing digital risks, especially in high-risk environments. Develop protocols protecting content and communications, lead incident response and threat hunting, conduct investigations and digital forensics, and perform security assessments. The role requires collaboration with technical and non-technical stakeholders and fluency in English and Norwegian.

Develop and maintain scalable, secure integrations using MuleSoft Anypoint. Responsibilities include designing, testing, deploying, monitoring, and improving integration solutions; managing platform performance and incidents; collaborating with infrastructure, architecture, IT, and business teams; and supporting automation through AWS, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code practices.

Own and configure enterprise AI platforms, including OpenAI and Anthropic tools. Translate user needs into secure technical solutions, test models, prototype workflows, develop AI usage policies, collaborate with security teams, and control API costs. The role requires software engineering expertise, knowledge of security and data privacy, strong communication skills, and analytical problem solving. Experience with LLM APIs, prompt engineering, AI orchestration frameworks, and AWS is advantageous.

Own the technical strategy, roadmap, architecture, configuration, integrations, security, compliance, lifecycle, and operational support of Schibsted’s Halo ITSM platform. Translate business needs into secure, maintainable solutions while managing automation, APIs, upgrades, troubleshooting, vendors, incidents, and platform governance.

Support application and product security by remediating vulnerabilities, conducting security assessments, integrating security throughout the software development lifecycle, managing security tools, developing training, maintaining security documentation, and monitoring emerging threats. Collaborate with developers, architects, system engineers, journalists, and other stakeholders to strengthen cybersecurity culture and protect digital assets.

Build and maintain reliable, scalable data pipelines, transformations, and models using Snowflake, dbt, Airflow, and Python. Translate stakeholder needs into pragmatic data products, improve testing, documentation, monitoring, governance, and cost efficiency, and contribute to architecture, code reviews, collaboration, and knowledge sharing across Data & AI teams.

Lead complex, cross-functional technology programs across Schibsted’s technology organization. Structure ambiguous initiatives, define ownership and milestones, coordinate stakeholders, manage risks and dependencies, run governance forums, support planning and OKRs, and provide leadership with clear progress updates and decisions. The role covers platform migrations, shared-service transitions, operating model changes, and post-merger integration while mentoring colleagues and driving strategic initiatives through execution.
