Interns will analyze operations, plan infrastructure, improve production, evaluate completions procedures or oil and gas reserves, and collaborate on multidisciplinary projects. Leads joint interest billing accounting operations, including monthly billings, close activities, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis, partner receivables, dispute resolution, audits, and reporting. Ensures compliance with COPAS procedures, joint operating agreements, and internal policies. Supervises and mentors JIB staff, reviews complex allocations and corrections, supports collections, and drives process improvements through automation and AI tools.

Performs non-operated joint interest billing accounting, including reviewing and coding JIBs, validating costs against agreements, preparing monthly billing and reclassification entries, setting up cost centers and AFEs, reconciling accounts, researching predrilling costs, supporting audits, and responding to working interest owner inquiries.

Lead technical design and delivery of enterprise security across network, endpoint, cloud, and applications. Own security engineering roadmap, standards, and vendor selection. Mentor engineers, run IAM and PAM architecture, manage vulnerability program and detection engineering, lead incident response and threat hunting, and communicate risk and roadmap to technical and executive stakeholders.

Respond to internal/external inquiries, create revenue and JIB decks, maintain records, generate division/transfer orders, support owner relations, assist land/data cleanup, review title opinions, and support SOX compliance.

Build and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines and APIs to move and transform large datasets into Databricks, support production environments, optimize integrations, model data for analytics, and collaborate across business, data science, and IT teams.

Lead and develop a revenue accounting team for upstream oil and gas assets, ensuring accurate monthly revenue, reconciliations, PPAs, journal entries, compliance filings, check-write processing, SOX controls, and cross-functional coordination with production, marketing, and division orders to maintain data integrity and regulatory compliance.

Lead reservoir engineering support for Delaware Basin assets: develop and execute field/well development plans, perform RTA/decline/material balance/volumetric analyses, optimize well spacing and completions, forecast production and economic value, support A&D analysis, and coordinate with planning and finance for long-term forecasts.

Perform technical evaluations and underwriting for acquisitions, divestitures, and trades. Manage data, generate engineering analyses, present recommendations to senior management, integrate technical underwriting with finance, collaborate with multidisciplinary technical teams, and transition assets to asset teams.
