Leads the company’s minerals and royalty portfolio across the Midland and Delaware Basins. Provides application support and system ownership across E&P functions including Land, Production Accounting, Facilities, and Production Operations. Responsibilities include requirements gathering, process analysis, root cause analysis, vendor coordination, testing, change management, configuration, and developing small-scale applications or automations. The role also monitors support metrics and usage data to identify improvement opportunities.

Design, implement, and maintain enterprise cloud and on-prem infrastructure (Azure, AWS, virtualization). Collaborate with stakeholders, document configurations, manage Microsoft 365, backup/DR, networking, security audits, and automate administration via scripting and IaC.

Paid summer 2027 engineering internship in Midland, Texas, with opportunities across drilling, completions, production, facilities, and reservoir engineering. Interns will analyze operations, plan infrastructure, improve production, evaluate completions procedures or oil and gas reserves, and collaborate on multidisciplinary projects. The program includes mentorship, training, field tours, networking, volunteer activities, and a final presentation.

Leads joint interest billing accounting operations, including monthly billings, close activities, accruals, reconciliations, variance analysis, partner receivables, dispute resolution, audits, and reporting. Ensures compliance with COPAS procedures, joint operating agreements, and internal policies. Supervises and mentors JIB staff, reviews complex allocations and corrections, supports collections, and drives process improvements through automation and AI tools.

Lead the company's indirect tax function focused on sales and use and ad valorem tax. Ensure compliance, manage audits and third-party consultants, evaluate and implement tax software, prepare and file returns, research taxability and exemptions, draft technical memoranda, respond to tax notices, and advise management on risks and planning opportunities.
