Lead the build center to translate complex mechanical designs into production hardware. Improve assembly throughput and quality, design tooling and lifting fixtures, perform risk and impact assessments, collaborate with manufacturing and facilities, and maintain assembly, inspection, and qualification documentation.

Optimize and document assembly and manufacturing processes, design tooling and error-proof fixtures, specify and integrate automation (robotics, conveyors, PLCs), write electronic work instructions, deploy inspection and data-collection systems, support process validation and continuous improvement, and partner with manufacturing, quality, and design teams to enable reliable production.

Own end-to-end manufacturing processes for pulser module assembly, including work instructions, tooling, fixturing, production documentation, and acceptance. The role requires hands-on experience with complex electromechanical hardware, machining, quality systems, engineering drawings, and fast-paced startup manufacturing.

Lead procurement, contract management, fabrication, installation, and commissioning of heavy structural steel systems. Manage vendors, develop execution and inspection plans, coordinate cross-functionally, track schedules and risks, support site readiness and installation across multiple build sites, and ensure safety, quality, cost, and schedule objectives are met.

Implement and maintain security controls across cloud, SaaS, and endpoints. Manage MDM and endpoint protection, enforce identity and access policies (MFA/conditional access), investigate and remediate incidents, document controls and evidence, and support System Security Plan development and compliance activities.

Design, analyze, and procure custom lifting, transport, and handling fixtures for large hardware. Produce CAD models, FEA, and fabrication drawings; verify structural integrity under static and dynamic loads; document testing; work with engineers and production to meet technical requirements; mentor other engineers and apply industry safety standards and regulations.

Architect and implement full‑stack systems for data acquisition, storage, APIs, and React front ends to support pulser factory and Demonstration System workflows. Define database schemas, design UIs (Figma), build data pipelines and streaming integrations, and lead a team to accelerate experiment-to-analysis decision cycles.

Lead development and implementation of the Quality Management System, inspection and safety programs, supplier quality, and continuous improvement for manufacturing. Conduct audits, root-cause investigations, corrective actions, training, and metrics reporting while partnering with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain to ensure safe, consistent, high-quality production.

Lead accounting and financial operations including monthly close and financial statements, oversee accounts payable/receivable and payroll, produce quarterly plan-vs-actual reporting and forecasts, perform ad hoc financial analysis, drive process improvements, and support development of a six-person accounting team.

Lead development and integration of building mechanical systems (HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, piping, pneumatic and vacuum systems) for a fusion demonstration facility. Interface with cross-functional teams, support design, permitting, construction oversight, commissioning, operations, maintenance, and future upgrades.

Design, analyze, and validate high-performance vacuum seals and test assemblies for fusion systems. Lead experimental test campaigns, perform FMEA and tolerance stack-ups, research novel sealing techniques, support system integration, document validation data, and mentor junior engineers.

Lead development, design, commissioning, operation, maintenance, and upgrades of facility electrical systems for a fusion demonstration facility. Define equipment requirements, ensure code compliance, collaborate across teams, support permitting, and oversee construction, commissioning, and ongoing operations.

Lead mechanical design, analysis, integration, and validation of pulser-driven fusion hardware. Own components from concept through fabrication and test, perform FEA (structural, thermal, dynamic), coordinate cross-disciplinary teams, oversee drawings and documentation, and work with vendors to ensure manufacturability and reliability.

Lead turnkey delivery of heavy fabrication and steel structure scopes: RFQs, vendor management, procurement, fabrication oversight, inspection, shipment, installation, and commissioning. Coordinate cross-functional teams to meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule targets across multiple sites, with up to 50% travel.

Lead design and structural analysis of large steel structures for a pulser-driven fusion system. Optimize hardware for cost, weight, manufacturability, and durability; perform FEA, design reviews, risk assessments, and cross-disciplinary integration. Mentor junior engineers and produce detailed documentation and specifications to meet industry codes.

Lead design, analysis, and validation of structural and mechanical systems for fusion machine installation and operations. Develop temporary and permanent support structures, foundations, seismic restraints, vibration isolation, test stands, and lifting equipment. Perform FEA and detailed mechanical analysis, ensure code compliance, coordinate with contractors and multidisciplinary teams, and support constructability and manufacturing.

Lead end-to-end mechanical design, analysis, integration, and validation of precision diagnostic instrumentation for pulsed fusion. Deliver CAD and GD&T drawings, perform FEA (structural and thermal), design optomechanical, motion, and thermal management solutions for vacuum and radiation environments, manage PDM/PLM configuration, drive prototypes to commissioning, and mentor junior engineers.

Lead mechanical design, analysis, and validation of components for pulser-driven inertial fusion systems. Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage vendor/manufacturer interactions, perform structural FEA/CFD, oversee documentation and design reviews, and drive manufacturable, reliable system-level solutions under aggressive timelines.

Lead end-to-end delivery and precision assembly of fusion targets, coordinating cross-functional teams, designing assembly fixtures and tooling, establishing project timelines to scale prototypes into high-throughput production, and overseeing quality control and documentation to meet micron-level tolerances and inspection standards.

Lead mechanical design of complex fusion energy hardware using Creo and PLM systems. Produce detailed models, drawings, analysis, cost/schedule estimates, and manufacturing-ready documentation. Participate in design reviews, configuration control, and mentor other designers while providing technical leadership on multiple projects.
