Develop web interfaces and backend services for real-time monitoring, facility configuration, alerts, diagnostics, and fusion facility operations. Integrate UI applications, APIs, controls systems, and data pipelines while writing maintainable code, participating in reviews, and testing software used in live environments. The internship is full-time and onsite for at least 12 consecutive weeks during summer 2027.

Electrical Engineering Intern will own a high-priority fusion-system project through planning, design, assembly, wiring, testing, and operation. The role provides hands-on experience developing experimental hardware and requires onsite full-time work for at least 12 consecutive weeks. Interns will apply electrical engineering fundamentals, circuit analysis, power systems, controls, signals, or embedded systems knowledge while documenting designs, building test setups, debugging hardware, and analyzing data.

Mechanical Engineering Interns will own high-priority projects through planning, mechanical design, assembly, and testing. The role provides hands-on experience with real fusion hardware and the full product lifecycle. Responsibilities include applying mechanical engineering fundamentals, stress analysis, CAD, design for manufacturing and assembly, prototyping, documentation, and test development. Interns must work onsite full time for at least 12 consecutive weeks beginning between mid-May and mid-June 2027.
