The Sealant Specialist I applies sealants post-assembly for major and sub-assemblies, maintains clean work areas, and ensures compliance with safety protocols while inspecting for non-conformances.

Use ERP/MRP systems to ensure materials are available for production, manage purchase orders and supplier performance, forecast requirements, resolve invoice discrepancies, produce metrics, negotiate supplier terms, and support inventory and consignment programs.

Perform masking and racking for chemical and paint processes using tapes, plugs, and liquid maskants. Read work orders and drawings, create masking aids and library, support quality/troubleshooting, follow EHS and production standards, assist leadership, and participate in continuous improvement and corrective actions.

Operate and program CNC machines: write custom macros, load and machine parts, inspect and deburr components, troubleshoot machines, optimize cutting parameters, support new part launches, and communicate improvements to Engineering, Quality, and Operations while maintaining high quality standards.

Welcome and assist visitors, answer and transfer front desk calls, manage visitor system and facility calendar, order meeting supplies, produce newsletters, flyers, and PowerPoint presentations, support event planning, and process internal mail.

Assist in preparing financial statements, managing general ledger, developing internal controls, and ensuring compliance with reporting requirements.

Design and define manufacturing processes, create routers/BOMs/work instructions, apply advanced GD&T, design fixtures/work-holding, perform measurement and quality planning (PFMEA, control plans), support CNC machining, use CAD (CATIA/NX) and PLM/MRP systems, mentor and manage project tasks, and frequently visit the production floor to resolve manufacturing issues.

Manage customer communication, order and forecast tracking, supplier validation, purchase order review, and new product introductions. Coordinate ERP/MRP data, support rate readiness and program performance, and drive continuous improvement in a manufacturing environment.

Support and maintain quality systems, lead and participate in corrective action investigations, design and implement preventive solutions, assist in inspections (FAI, RMA, MRR), troubleshoot production processes, resolve customer complaints and nonconformances, and help develop training to improve quality awareness and measurement across the organization.

The Production Expeditor manages production processes, coordinates customer requests, assists in planning, and ensures operational excellence while meeting delivery expectations.
