Quality Engineer responsible for maintaining manufacturing quality systems, leading corrective action investigations, troubleshooting production and customer issues, supporting inspections and first article processes, and improving process capabilities. The role requires familiarity with engineering drawings, bills of materials, manufacturing routers, CATIA V5, measurement tools, AS9100, FMEA, and control plans. Work occurs primarily in an office with frequent manufacturing-floor visits and requires compliance with ITAR eligibility restrictions.

Ensures manufacturing documents and processes meet quality standards, leads corrective-action investigations, supports inspections and first article activities, troubleshoots production and product issues, resolves customer complaints and nonconformances, and recommends process improvements. The role also supports quality training, customer issue resolution, RMA and material review processes, and compliance with company procedures.

Develops and documents production processes, work instructions, cost estimates, and process improvements. Investigates production issues, supports cost-reduction initiatives, provides training, and promotes safe, efficient plant operations. Requires manufacturing engineering experience, Lean methods, mechanical aptitude, CAD software proficiency, Microsoft Office skills, PFMEA, root cause analysis, and project management capabilities.
