Applies global product safety frameworks, QMS practices, analytical problem-solving, and clear communication to ensure products meet regulatory requirements across international markets.

The Mechatronics Engineer supports multiple product development teams by troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and electromechanical issues. Responsibilities include root-cause analysis, prototype testing, motor and wiring optimization, schematic and PCB review, compliance considerations, technical communication, and process improvement. The role requires managing concurrent projects and rapidly iterating toward robust, manufacturable consumer appliance solutions.

Leads Ooni’s global Quality, Compliance and Test function, setting strategy and managing product safety, regulatory compliance, testing, supplier quality, certification, risk management, and corrective actions. The role builds and mentors a high-performing team, oversees QMS processes, validates products, manages technical files and conformity assessments, and drives quality improvements across engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, and customer experience.
