Analyze energy data, implement reduction projects, ensure accurate reporting and regulatory compliance, collaborate with plant, engineering, operations, utilities, and external stakeholders, and serve as the UK energy subject matter expert in regional and global forums.

Manages cold-end engineering services and equipment supporting automated quality inspection, palletisation, bottle conveying, and cullet return systems. Oversees job changes, engineering workshops, stores, equipment services, departmental organization, onboarding, training, and subordinate performance. The role emphasizes operational excellence, safety, quality, efficiency, sustainability, communication, and team motivation within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Supports FP&A through month-end closing, US GAAP reporting, budgeting, forecasting, audit support, financial data management, and business performance analysis. Prepares country reports, consolidates forecast and budget data, monitors variances, identifies cost-reduction opportunities, supports financial controls and FP&A projects, and contributes to automation, standardization, and technical support.

Supports the FP&A team with month-end closing, budgeting, forecasting, US GAAP and statutory financial reporting, audits, financial analysis, data consolidation, and reporting. The intern works with country finance and controlling teams, handles confidential financial data, supports internal control compliance, and participates in FP&A projects and best-practice development.

Leads global energy intelligence, data governance, analytics, reporting, and market intelligence. Develops dashboards, KPIs, forecasts, automation, predictive analytics, and AI-enabled decision tools supporting energy sourcing, cost optimization, risk management, sustainability, budgeting, and procurement value tracking. Partners with finance, procurement, sustainability, operations, regional energy teams, and data analytics groups to transform energy data into executive insights and strategic recommendations.

Design, audit, and support glass melting furnaces and refractories worldwide. Scope and manage design/repair projects, supervise construction and hot repairs, perform campaign life assessments, provide technical support, and ensure safety and budget adherence.

Manage North America manufacturing capital and expense plans (~$100M+), oversee 15 plants' CAPEX forecasting, reporting, PSR/901E and SAP project systems administration, ensure SOX compliance, coordinate stakeholders, vendor/payables, tax incentives, capital leases, and drive portfolio prioritization and risk mitigation.

Manage furnace and batch house operations, supervise salaried and hourly staff, oversee raw material and glass formula management, coordinate preventive maintenance, control environmental systems, and drive lean continuous improvement to meet production, quality, and budget targets.

Process and reconcile weekly complex hourly payroll, ensure SOX compliance, support benefits and compensation administration, assist plant HR manager with disability, relocation, requisitions, employee records, training, performance tracking, labor relations, and grievance administration.

Monitors production lines, conveyors, inspection equipment, and case packers for obstructions and malfunctions. Clears jams, performs equipment frequency checks, removes defective glassware, manages cullet and down ware, reports maintenance issues, and hand-packs cartons when necessary. Requires manufacturing or production experience, ability to lift 25 pounds regularly, and availability for rotating shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Supports IT projects and internal processes across SAP implementation, enterprise architecture, application development, and infrastructure. The intern works with teams on individual and collaborative projects, develops technical and organizational skills, receives mentorship and feedback, and gains exposure to IT operations and applications in a global manufacturing organization.

Supports global sustainability and energy performance goals by analyzing energy data, reporting KPIs, facilitating stakeholder training, identifying efficiency opportunities, supporting carbon reduction and capital projects, managing customer sustainability requests, and contributing to certifications, compliance, and organizational adoption of energy-management processes.
