The Plant HR Generalist will assist in the execution of staffing, payroll, performance management, employee development, training and succession planning.  This hands-on position is responsible for driving the implementation of HR processes and initiatives.

The Plant HR Generalist  will:

• Train and monitor work accuracy of Payroll/HR responsibilities with managers
• Maintain and reconcile all hourly payroll files and data for the plant, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley requirements
• Process weekly plant hourly payroll, including balancing general ledger interfaces and preparing regular and special payroll reports
• Assist in the administration of employee benefit and compensation programs and other HR company initiatives as required
• Partner with Plant HR Manager for disability processing, relocation coordination, HR requisition and PAF process, maintaining employee files and performance plan tracking and record keeping

The Plant HR Generalist  should:

• Be a positive and pro-active company and employee advocate
• Professional demeanor and ability to communicate with all levels within the organization
• Be able to assist in the execution of labor and employee relations activities that drive productivity and efficiency.
• Be able to assist with grievance administration
• Be able to prioritize 
• Have attention to detail 

• Bachelor Degree required 
• Previous professional experience in Human Resources, preferably in a manufacturing environment 
• Previous experience in payroll administration in a fast-paced environment preferred
• Must be proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
• Knowledge of Ceridian DayForce and SAP are a plus

Salary Range:  The expected salary range for this position is between $70,000 - $90,000 and includes a possible 12% short-term incentive bonus. Actual pay will be adjusted based upon candidate experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
