Partner with leadership to deliver employee relations, performance management, policy administration, compliance, recruitment, onboarding, training, payroll support, HRIS maintenance, workers' compensation and union/grievance support across multiple sites.

Manage and grow strategic relationships with large, complex customers in the packaging industry. Identify customer needs, propose packaging solutions, drive revenue and margin through long-term agreements, perform quarterly business reviews, collaborate cross-functionally, leverage Salesforce and Power BI, and travel up to 60% to support and expand account share.

Prepare and review complex Canadian corporate and partnership tax returns and related filings (NR4, T106, GST/HST, QST, PST), manage ASC 740 provisions, cash tax forecasting, instalments and payments, support audits and appeals, handle cross-border and import/export tax matters, assist M&A and repatriation projects, perform technical tax research, and collaborate with Legal, Payroll, Finance, Treasury, and business teams.

Lead plant EHS compliance and culture by conducting audits, incident root cause analyses, training, and regulatory program management (RCRA, OSHA, SPCC, Clean Air Act). Partner with operations, HR, and leadership to implement corrective/preventive actions, manage permits and CAPAs, interface with agencies, and support EHS system continuous improvement across assigned manufacturing sites.

Execute risk-based operational, financial, and compliance audits; perform risk assessments, control testing, and walkthroughs; document workpapers; identify control deficiencies and process improvements; support SOX/ICFR testing and leverage data analytics to streamline testing.

Lead operational and SOX/ICFR audits across order-to-cash, procure-to-pay, capital spending and tax processes. Use data-driven methods to identify root causes, recommend cost-effective improvements, drive follow-up, and partner with business leaders to optimize working capital and mitigate operational risk.
