Assistant Controller supports accounting operations, financial reporting, budgeting, audits, internal controls, and compliance. The role manages close processes, reconciliations, journal entries, budget-to-actual analysis, and Massachusetts Uniform Financial Reports. It also improves accounting workflows and systems, supervises Finance and Accounts Payable staff, and partners with leadership. This is a developmental succession role with an anticipated transition to Controller within approximately 6–9 months.

Responsibilities include daily caregiving, transportation, emotional and behavioral support, appointments, documentation, and collaboration with case managers and the foster care team.
