Manages accurate and timely CMS, federal, state, and hospital quality reporting for an orthopedic hospital. Submits eCQMs, NHSN data, HCAHPS, hybrid measures, PRO-PM, and related reports; collaborates with clinical leaders and IT to improve documentation and data capture; monitors regulatory changes; and supports broader quality initiatives.

Prepare medical billing, follow up on claims, post payments to accounts receivable ledgers, and answer patient billing questions. Resolve issues while providing courteous, timely, and informative service by phone and on-site. The role prefers two years of billing or accounts receivable collections experience, a high school diploma, medical coding knowledge, and strong communication skills.

Provides safe and effective perioperative nursing care for patients undergoing complex orthopedic surgical procedures, from preoperative preparation through transfer to recovery. Collaborates with operating room professionals, follows surgical protocols, and supports patient safety throughout procedures. Requires a Kansas RN license, BLS certification, and at least one year of operating room or relevant experience. ACLS certification and orthopedic operating room experience are preferred.

Supervise hospital insurance verification operations, including staff management, workflow optimization, issue resolution, training, performance evaluation, reporting, and process improvement. Collaborate with hospital and clinic teams to support patient service and revenue cycle operations while maintaining departmental policies, metrics, and staffing coverage.

Manages revenue cycle contract modeling, reimbursement analysis, payer contract performance, and underpayment identification. Analyzes Workers’ Compensation claims, supports legal reviews and contract negotiations, maintains reimbursement benchmarks, prepares financial and operational reports, monitors bundled payments, and assists with denial analysis, aged accounts receivable resolution, and billing process improvements.
