Develops, integrates, validates, and troubleshoots onboard diagnostic strategies and calibration data for diesel powertrain systems. Supports regulatory compliance, certification, testing, benchmarking, issue resolution, project schedules, and technical documentation. Collaborates with calibration, software, and product development teams while guiding junior staff. Requires hands-on vehicle validation, emissions testing knowledge, CAN analysis, ETAS INCA, and MATLAB/Simulink experience. The position is full-time on-site in Plymouth, Michigan, with 20–30% domestic and international travel.

Develops and validates autonomous-driving software across perception, localization, planning, prediction, or control. Responsibilities include software implementation, ML data pipelines, simulation and emulation evaluation, driving-log analysis, partner collaboration, algorithm research, and vehicle testing. The role may involve deploying ML models on embedded automotive hardware, optimizing GPU performance, and conducting real-time, closed-loop validation.

Provides senior legal counsel on corporate governance, commercial and strategic transactions, finance, technology, AI, cybersecurity, data, and enterprise risk. Advises executives, manages complex matters and outside counsel, develops legal policies and contracting solutions, and leads cross-functional legal initiatives. Requires substantial independent judgment, sophisticated negotiation and drafting skills, and the ability to translate complex legal issues into practical business guidance.

Support systems engineering and safety for the Automated Driving Kit (ADK) and vehicle integration by developing and maintaining requirements, MBSE models, interfaces, and traceability; integrate functional safety, SOTIF, and cybersecurity considerations; coordinate with suppliers and verification teams; define verification methods and evidence for safe deployment.

Leads the enterprise privacy and regulatory compliance function, including CCPA/CPRA and international privacy requirements. Develops policies, procedures, training, reporting, internal controls, and compliance processes. Coordinates cross-functional compliance initiatives, monitors regulatory developments, conducts assessments and vendor due diligence, and supports audits and regulatory inquiries. Advises management on privacy, governance, risk, and regulatory matters while building organizational processes and promoting a culture of compliance.

Supports development, integration, simulation, testing, and deployment of Level 4 autonomous commercial vehicle systems. Responsibilities may focus on perception, planning, or control algorithms, including object detection, image segmentation, sensor fusion, trajectory planning, vehicle control, system integration, SIL/HIL validation, on-road testing, root-cause analysis, and closed-loop performance improvement. The intern collaborates with engineering teams and external partners to diagnose field issues and implement system-wide fixes.

Support validation and verification of Level 4 autonomous driving and robotic systems using generative AI, VLMs, world models, and simulation. Analyze open-source and on-road data, create edge-case simulations, collaborate with global teams and external partners, and communicate technical findings to stakeholders.
