Support validation and verification of Level 4 autonomous driving and robotic systems using generative AI, VLMs, world models, and simulation. Analyze open-source and on-road data, create edge-case simulations, collaborate with global teams and external partners, and communicate technical findings to stakeholders.

Summer/Fall 2026 internship supporting Level 4 autonomous driving research. Develop, evaluate, and apply multimodal AI models (VLMs, VLAs, LLMs, world models) for data triage, scenario mining, simulation V&V, and safety analysis. Analyze multimodal sensor and simulation data, integrate AI outputs into development pipelines, and communicate findings across U.S. and Japan teams.

Support verification and validation of Level 4 autonomous driving systems through data analysis, simulation, and model/algorithm validation. Collaborate cross-functionally with US/Japan teams and partners, analyze on-road driving data, run real-world scenario simulations, identify safety trends, and communicate technical findings.
