Support investigation of sunblind friction for automotive roof systems: perform tests and measurements, analyze data, document results, and collaborate with engineering team to improve designs.

Drives global quality standards, systems, KPIs, audits, analytics, and continuous improvement across automotive product development and operations. Leads quality core-tool deployment, corrective actions, risk management, COPQ resolution, customer and supplier quality initiatives, and best-practice sharing across global regions and sites. Develops Power BI dashboards and supports data-driven decision-making, stakeholder collaboration, and quality performance throughout the product lifecycle.

Develop and improve automotive sunroof modules and roof systems. Oversee engineering changes, support design of experiments, DFM/DFA analysis, testing, cost reduction, root-cause investigations, and manufacturing quality issues. Provide technical input on supplier and customer assembly plant issues, update DFMEAs, support continuous improvement and Kaizen activities, and make minor CAD drawing updates while ensuring compliance with automotive quality, environmental, and safety standards.

Maintains product quality for automotive roof systems by reviewing production control plans, diagnosing defective materials, identifying corrective actions, supporting customers and new programs, tracking plant quality measures, and maintaining IATF 16949 compliance. Supervises quality auditors and participates in continuous improvement, safety, and environmental initiatives within an automotive manufacturing environment.

Act as HR business partner to management and executives, implement global HR processes, identify business HR needs, coach and up-skill managers, ensure cross-functional alignment, and support complex people-related matters including labor law and union interactions.

Manage supplier base for automotive roof systems, negotiate terms, certify and audit suppliers, oversee purchasing for projects, ensure timely delivery and quality, support VAVE cost-saving initiatives, and maintain supplier relationships.

Lead CAD and engineering activities for sunroof product development: create 3D/2D data, manage BOMs, lead DFMEA, create DV/PV test plans, manage engineering changes, run design reviews with suppliers, support sample production and provide customer on-site technical support.

Design, implement and test embedded C software for automotive sunroof systems. Create software architecture and detailed designs, develop anti-pinch algorithms, perform static/dynamic code checks and unit/module tests, manage versioning and releases, follow ASPICE, coordinate integration and testing with hardware/electronics engineers, and audit supplier software deliverables.

Perform metrology and quality inspection activities for automotive roof system development, using coordinate measuring equipment to verify parts, document results, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to support product development and quality assurance.

Design, develop, and support control systems for automotive roof mechanisms in collaboration with OEM partners. Work on product development for future car models, participate in cross‑functional teams, and contribute to engineering solutions at the Auburn Hills assembly location.

Provide day-to-day ERP support for plants and offices: incident and service request management, monitor jobs/interfaces, assist functional and technical ERP engineers with changes and maintenance, advise business users, ensure documentation quality, liaise with third parties, and identify improvements to system operations.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial modeling; prepare monthly P&L and KPI reports; analyze costs, profitability, and variances; act as finance business partner to operations; support CapEx evaluation, audits, compliance, and documentation; drive cost optimization and ad-hoc financial analyses.

Maintain and program CMM and measurement equipment, manage gage certification database, write PCDMIS programs to GD&T prints, perform CMM studies, present results to customers, assist gage/tool design and troubleshooting, support TS16949 compliance, supervise quality auditors, and maintain records and supplies.

Lead cross-functional project teams to develop roof systems for automotive customers, ensuring project delivery meets quality, cost, and schedule targets.
