Lead electrical hardware design for complex products, managing projects, partners, and validation activities. Provide architecture expertise, drive technology integration, ensure compliance with design standards, and mentor junior engineers while guiding testing, thermal/emissions management, and productization efforts.

Design and validate electrical/electronic parts, subsystems, integrated circuits and algorithms. Develop test plans for tolerance, EMI, thermal, shock/vibration, safety and power measurements. Lead and mentor electrical hardware engineers, coordinate with internal and outsourced partners, and communicate design status and trade-offs to management.

Lead original, publication-driven research in foundational AI, focusing on representation learning, reasoning, physics-inspired ML, and AI-quantum/physical science intersections. Own projects end-to-end: problem formulation, math, implementation, experiments, analysis, and publishing; develop reusable research assets and collaborate across disciplines and external partners.
