The role is hybrid but requires onsite work four days per week in Richfield, Ohio.

Leads a team of experienced workers’ compensation claims professionals across California. Oversees complex claims, including investigation, coverage analysis, reserving, litigation, vendor management, and resolution strategies. Coaches and develops employees, partners with insureds, supports return-to-work initiatives, and drives proactive claim outcomes and customer service. Requires travel up to 35%, including overnight travel.

Develops and manages crop insurance agency relationships across Minnesota, including territory marketing, agency appointments, production analysis, training, competitive research, risk selection, pricing, underwriting compliance, and profitable business growth. The role requires frequent day and overnight travel of up to 60% within the state and may involve binding risks, conducting appraisals, and supporting complex accounts.

May coach staff, support agile teams, and serve as a Scrum Master.

Manages complex total-loss property and casualty claims, including investigations, coverage and liability determinations, damage evaluations, settlement negotiations, reserves, payments, and detailed claim documentation. Handles communications with insureds, claimants, and external partners and may participate in arbitrations, mediations, depositions, or trials.
