The role involves advancing 3D heterogeneous integration design through specifications, collaborations, and the development of test vehicles within a semiconductor manufacturing setting.

Lead process integration of silicon photonic devices from development through production. Own technology qualification, customer engagement, quality, cost and delivery metrics; analyze quality and financial impacts; ensure technology maturity and IP protection; drive standardized global qualification processes; collaborate across sites and support EHS programs.

Lead design and implementation of AI/ML compiler and runtime software for RISC-V/NPU SoCs. Develop IREE/MLIR-based lowering, custom dialects and passes, code generation, quantization, and runtime integration. Optimize models for edge deployment across CPU, vector, matrix, and accelerator paths. Collaborate with hardware, firmware, FPGA and validation teams, build test/CI infrastructure, and provide technical leadership for performance tuning and customer enablement.
