Summary of Role:
GlobalFoundries Fab 8 is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to become part of our state of the art 300mm factory. This position will be within the Global Transportation team which is part of Logistics. The job entails areas such as site scheduling activities, inbound/outbound delivery coordination, traffic estimation, financial reporting, Oracle ERP operation and broad analytical requirements, to meet production demands and capital cost targets. This position requires an individual with strong internal drive; leadership, excellent soft skills, analytical skills, and the ability to own a project from beginning to end. This position will be located at GlobalFoundries in Malta, New York.
Essential Responsibilities:

Be an active leader in developing a culture of safety, 5S and cleanroom protocol, and help ensure compliance to fab policies, guidelines, and rules.

Manage the timeline and accurate scheduling of all inbound/outbound site deliveries using our C3 scheduling system.

Perform freight payment functions to include auditing invoices and ensuring on time payments are made.

Develop, Analyze and Manage the Global Supply Chain budget for the Logistics Operations.

Provide analytical reports, and suggestions to optimize transportation spend.

Work with transportation providers to perform a high level of achievement to key performance indicators (KPIs).

Provide detailed, accurate reporting to the senior leadership within GLOBALFOUNDRIES.

Lead the monthly, quarterly, and annual accrual process in coordination with transportation providers and finance.

Lead, drive and/or actively participate in continuous improvement projects within Logistics to optimize processes and efficiencies.

Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipping, receiving, inspection, and warehousing.

Determine method of shipment optimizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates.

Complete traffic estimates for internal customers and provide guidance on the best suited method of delivery

Coordinate pickup and delivery of material with service providers.

Ensure documentation is compliant in collaboration with logistics and trade specialists.

Prioritize work assignments based upon service commitment to customers and business need.

Required Qualifications:
-
Education – Bachelor's degree in Logistics/Supply Chain, Business Management- or related field.

Experience - Minimum two years of directly relevant experience in Logistics or Supply Chain

Travel - Up to 10%

Fluency in English Language – written & verbal.

Applicant must be a U.S. Citizen

Must be able to obtain and maintain a SECRET level U.S. government security clearance
Preferred Qualifications:
-
Demonstrated experience in a transportation environment, with knowledge of import/export procedures.

Ability to work effectively in a global work environment.

Experience with key Logistics applications, Supply Chain, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Transportation and Production Planning.

Prior experience developing and managing a budget

Prior experience & knowledge of industry standards related to Incoterms 2010, Department of Transportation (DOT) & International Air Transport Association (IATA) guidelines

Ability to travel to worldwide manufacturing locations to support on-the-job training and collaboration if needed.

Must have strong proficiency in standard Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook); advanced Excel financial feature proficiency

Ability to manage project teams

Experience in Semiconductor industry, global manufacturing operations and logistics world-wide (Europe, Asia, USA, Middle East).
Expected Salary Range
$53,000.00 - $98,500.00
The exact Salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience and location.
