Leads national first notice of loss, liability, and bodily injury claims operations through Claims Managers and Team Leaders. Oversees claim quality, customer experience, productivity, financial performance, regulatory compliance, vendor performance, workforce development, and operational improvement. Partners cross-functionally to resolve claims issues, improve workflows, manage risks, and achieve business objectives across a multi-state organization.

Leads platform engineering and DevSecOps initiatives across Azure and VMware environments. Designs Infrastructure as Code, modernizes Azure DevOps pipelines, establishes CI/CD standards, improves observability and release management, and supports production deployments. Partners with operations, development, and QA teams to improve reliability and developer experience. The role includes technical guidance, documentation, troubleshooting, and participation in a 24/7 on-call rotation.

Develops and delivers onboarding and continuing education programs for Customer Service employees. Creates curricula, job aids, guides, videos, and other learning materials; evaluates learner readiness; coaches employees; identifies skill gaps with leaders and Quality Assurance; and uses feedback and performance data to improve training effectiveness.

Manages insurance products across 2–4 states with full P&L responsibility. Develops pricing strategies, executes rate changes, prepares regulatory filings, monitors state performance, and identifies growth opportunities. Partners with actuarial, sales, marketing, IT, testing, and regulatory teams to improve profitability and product performance. Builds reports and dashboards, presents strategies to leadership, leads complex initiatives, and mentors junior staff.

Lead state-level product performance for multiple states, own P&L, develop pricing strategies, execute rate filings, manage underwriting and agency strategies, partner with actuarial/sales/marketing, mentor product staff, present to senior leadership, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive process improvements and automation to meet growth and profitability targets.

Owns the roadmap for AI, automation, and process transformation initiatives. Identifies business opportunities, leads discovery workshops and pilots, translates needs into product requirements, and partners with business and technology teams to deliver scalable solutions. Measures adoption, operational impact, customer outcomes, and value realization while supporting governance, security, responsible AI, and organizational change. Requires product ownership experience, property and casualty insurance expertise, Agile/Scrum experience, analytics skills, and strong cross-functional leadership.

Owns and improves the end-to-end customer journey across quoting, policy servicing, billing, claims, renewals, and retention. Defines product roadmaps, backlogs, epics, user stories, and acceptance criteria while partnering with Agile development teams. Uses customer feedback, analytics, complaints, and operational data to prioritize digital experience improvements. The role requires cross-functional leadership, insurance expertise, stakeholder management, business-case development, and delivery of measurable customer and business outcomes.

Lead monthly, quarterly, and year-end close and financial reporting for GAINSCO. Ensure balance sheet integrity, audit readiness, intercompany and cash accounting, and regulatory/statutory filings. Drive process improvements, automation, ERP enhancements, and lead accounting staff while partnering with FP&A, IT, and auditors to support business decisions.
